Ukraine has the only right to kiss the ass of the US and be thankful. Without the US, this war was over a long time ago.

Sure if there is a success (kind of ) there is a long damn line of those who want to take the credit for it. To be factual it was Poland that helped first and fastest and that was decisive the US got on there later and then France and Germany followed with their helmets.

Anyway, take all the credit but if that ends up in disarray you will also get all the blame. ( I mean the US).

There isn't even any clear rationale for why it's happening....

The original invasion was based on a premise "Ukrainians are really russians who are confused and they will welcome a return to rule from moscow" that turned out to be completely wrong.

Only idiots and paid trolls believe russian rationales about 'nazis' (per capita there are far more nazis in russia) or a 'russian language ban' (usually propagated by those who speak neither Ukrainian or russian) or 'pro-russian separatists' (they were russian, like Girkin who began the invasion of Donbas in 2014).

No one with any knowledge of russian society or who has a 3 digit IQ believes it was about NATO (all it has done is make NATO stronger than ever).

So what are they trying to accomplish?

Even russians who loiter around here can't articulate any real way in which russian military involvement in Ukraine is good for either country... they simply regurgitate government lines they have been told to regurgitate.
