No. It's time to win it. Nice and slow is a disaster for both sides.
Other than being slow and nice, unlike the one in Vietnam, this is a war of liberation: Russia is liberating D and L.

North Nigeria has no path to winning the war - they have tried surprise, tried "special forces", tried attrition but they just lose more and more of their troops and armor and even ships.

Their competence is improving but their weapons are from another century and most crucial they no longer know what their war aims are.

New tactic seems to be sabotage and disruption in countries that they are not even fighting. Hopefully a few 20 year sentences will be doled out to the local drunks and misfits they are using for that.
