another rust bucket ship sunk today
America shot down its own Super Hornet, and almost shot down 2.
Reports today indicate that the first F-18 narrowly avoided being shot down, but the second one moving in its wake was not as fortunate.
America's "help to Israel" in Yemen is becoming more pathetic by the day.
First they failed, miserably, at stopping the Yemenis from shooting missiles at ships. But at least they kept trying, because the British and French admitted their own impotence practically immediately.
Then they got their jollies up again, and declared some "punitive strikes", which the Yemenis again shrugged off.
Now they're shooting down their own planes, even though Yemen doesn't have a single functioning aircraft which they could mistake it for.
Unless you're willing to send an Iraq-sized contingent to Yemen, maybe just call it quits and save yourself further embarrassment.
If the Yemenis sink an American ship, that'll be a bit worse of a reputational hit than shooting down your own planes in completely uncontested airspace.
Is that all that hard?
More platitudes.
