Well, Putin and some others have already pondered out loud the possibility that Zelensky might try to kill Trump.

Zelensky has massive and powerful intelligence assets at his disposal. They don't shirk away from killing the daughters of Russian philosophers, or using unsuspecting truck drivers as suicide bombers for the Kerch bridge.

They have sent special forces to resist Russian influence in Mali, the Central African Republic, and Niger.

There's probably a few million Ukrainians living in the United States. Some of them might be upset enough, that they could be a willing aid to Ukraine's special services.

Zelensky is fighting for his life. If he thinks he's backed into a corner, he may very well try to remove the President which creates problems for him.

Europes galileo system is way behind the US' GPS. Europe doesnt have a proper SAM system and nothing like starlink. Europe doesnt have backdoors into US intellegience agencies but the US has backdoors into Europe's.

I have advocated for a very long time that Europe should disentangle from the US military and spying agencies they have repeatedly shown themselves to be untrustworthy. The French were laughed at for their policy but looks like they were correct.

If Europe is going to increase spending on weapons they should be European made. Its obviously too late for Europe to supply Ukraine with the latest weapons but we have to start being serious soon. Those who swallowed US promises have been shown to be foolish.

A five-part plan to bolster Europe's defence industry and increase its military capability could raise nearly €800bn (£660bn) and help provide urgent military support for Ukraine after the US suspended aid to Kyiv, the head of the European Commission has said.

Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday the 27-member bloc would propose giving member states more fiscal space for defence investments, as well as €150bn in loans for those investments, and would also aim to mobilise private capital.

Presenting the "ReArm Europe" package in Brussels, von der Leyen said: "This is a moment for Europe, and we are ready to step up." The proposals "could mobilise close to €800bn of defence expenditures for a safe and resilient Europe", she added.

My guess....the next step will be kinda thrown together "peace keepers" in Ukraine, which in turn will build the core of a new European Army!

There will be no peacekeepers in Ukraine.

The proposed 800 billion is not for Ukraine but to rearm Europe. Imagine the best engineers in the world staying in Europe and developing our own systems. Dropping the over priced US stuff for better stuff.

Well...we need our own defense...the US demands it....european patriots demand it...the world politics demand it....and they have to train somewhere....

Europe has great engineers and weapons companies but is blinded to how the US is. Ireland is not in NATO for obvious reasons but the rest of Europe needs to break free from the US. We have allowed them to get too powerful.
