Macron is a typical western European politician.
All mouth and no action.

But if this is true, maybe there is some hope.

French support for Ukraine has been lackluster when it comes down to numbers.

But credit where credit is due, Macron has really been the one European leader who has consistently shown leadership throughout the entire war.

He was also apparantly the brains behind the recent European efforts to cope with Trump's irrationality.

Good thing that we have someone as experienced as him (and of course Tusk in Poland) who coordinate those efforts.

What he should do now is switch French industry into war mode to produce thousands of nuclear weapons and then distribute them to frontline countries (Finland, Poland, Romania). That would secure the EU firmly from the East.

One scenario is that the Orange man suggested he'd show up at a President to President meeting between President Zelenskyy and Putler. This was to Putler's disadvantage. He wanted USSR to USA bilateral talks as if he was some sort of superpower Stalin. He isn't anymore and President Zelenskyy is his counterpart here.
