Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 24

Novichok

The US has approved the sale of new ERAM missiles to Ukraine. Good news for Ukraine and its defense against the Russian invasion.

It would be good if Russia was on its last legs the way Japan was in 1945. A couple of nukes, 70,000 fried kids, and it's capitulation time...

This is not the situation now because Putin is not Truman and is doing everything he can to minimize casualties on both sides.... but up to a point since many Russians feel exactly like I do...

...best expressed by "WTF is going on!"

God said this before dumping a lot of rain on the sinners...and killing all except Noah and the animals that can't swim.

Putin would be equally justified if he decided to flatten Kiev...

He can't flatten Kyiv

- there are air defenses
- the Ukrainians have better missiles and can hit any town in North Nigeria

Putin is on his knees every day praying for this moment...

I know that, Ukraine knows that, everybody knows that

Which is why Ukraine are using their missiles on military targets and oil infrastructure - very successfully the last few weeks.

No oil exports means no money to pay for weapons from the NN's allies - commie Chinese, starving Koreans, Iranian fundamentalists and turd world dictators in Eritrea and Nicaragua.

And let's not forget North Benin, now squeeling like kids because they have no oil supplies - they even had the nerve to ask the EU for solidarity.

Sikorski had a good answer for that...

The article is good, but the headline is already enough for discussion (see screenshot of Financial Times headline below).

Are you Europeans not embarrassed enough yet?

Have you had enough yet, of crawling on your knees?

In addition, a pithy quote from Politico.eu article:

For years, the European Union believed that its economic size, with 450 million consumers, brought with it geopolitical power and influence in international trade relations. This year will be remembered as the year in which this illusion evaporated," Draghi said [...]
"We have been pushed by the same ally to increase military spending, a decision we might have had to make anyway - but in ways that probably do not reflect Europe's interests." [...]
Despite its economic power, the EU plays only a "marginal" role in Trump's peace efforts in Ukraine, was "an observer" of the massacre in Gaza and "China has made it clear that it does not consider Europe an equal partner."

Are you Europeans not embarrassed enough yet?

A "humiliation", "economic surrender" and rhetoric that "appears to have been stolen from the adult entertainment industry".

OK, the first sentence grabbed my attention. Let's see...

@Torq

It is a grotesque sight.

As a Russian - pleasing. As a fan of Europe - depressing.

Two offshoots of Europe - Russia and America - are spit roasting your ass.

Sikorski had a good answer

An extremely good answer.

Hungary has benefitted enormously over the past 30 years of being away from the malign hand of r*SSia. They have received money from more democratic and decent states and have benefitted by their citizens having the right to work in other democratic countries.

If they now abuse that by siding with a destructive pariah state, they deserve everything they get.

Time to close off that pipeline. They've had three years to deal with its likely loss.

As a fan of Europe - depressing.

As a fan of Good Marshall - nihil novi sub sole...

"The West is currently rather rotten. If it does not come to its senses and harden soon, we shall have to adjust our work accordingly.", Józef Piłsudski, 1934

Unfortunately, Piłsudski died a year later, Poland took down her skirt and bent over, and the West - shockingly - f*cked her in the arse. But that's all history now.

Russia and America - are spit roasting your ass.

We're used to it, kiddo. We console ourselves with the thought that our revenge will be sweet. And we are patient.

Not something to boast about, for the mother continent.

It took a very long time for you to understand, that GDP per capita does not equate to influence.

It certainly makes you most attractive to people from less fortunate parts of the world, struggling to build a better life for themselves and their children.

However, it emerges - suddenly - that having oil reserves and the entire periodic table - is more important than making the best saloon car, or producing nice watches.

Hmm... so that's why all the retarded EU "green" policies, all the "ecological" madness that destroys our economies - it's to stop the mass immigration. Wow! 5D chess and all that.

Bobko
25 Aug 2025  #823

@Torq

Ukraine is very upset with the EU. Instead of using the American's passing moment of madness, to reassert yourselves - you got on your knees and proceeded to give Trump a quality blowjob.

From Russia, I say - well done.

If you need it - we can help you rise from your knees... and put you on all fours. I think it may be more comfortable for you this way, because after all the knees get tired.

Why ? Oil is completely undifferentiated - we can get it from Norway, America, Saudi or Nigeria. It's sticky and it's black - big whoop.

Europe doesn't just make the best watches - it also makes the best pharma, best engines and turbines, best airplanes and of course the best food especially compared to the grey sludge and boiled cabbage served in North Nigeria

Doesn't seem to make any difference to you being mere passengers in the negotiation of your fate - which is the central message of my post.

If Russia was not sanctioned, it would buy everything it needs (which is exactly what we did shortly before the war). The same way China bought Volvo, and every other thing they needed for their industries.

Europeans are for sale - always. Mammon is their God. You want to leap 40 years ahead in semiconductor manufacturing? Buy ASML. The regulators can be bribed through their national governments, who will lobby the commission and the MEPs for approval.

Europe has no "strategic" guiding light. Always easily splittable, bought, and exploited. A continent of pygmies, albeit very rich and advanced Pygmies.

Ah, so you've moved from paragon of eastern kindness to... let's say yoga instructor? Good to see that PF is still able to bring out the worst in people. :D

Careful though... we've been known to turn tables on those who offer unsolicited gymnastic routines ha ha

As I've said - experiencing some schizophrenia.

On the one hand - great news... on the other side deep disgust.

These are not the Europeans that we know...

Maybe it's demographics, maybe it's Brussels (with all its dysfunction). Maybe it's something else... but it's all rather sad.

America is crazy, Russia is dying out, Europe is disabled. Even China is in trouble. The world is changing right under our feet.

An extremely good answer.

Sikorski is an ass.. Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not been functioning well under any circumstances, but its inspiring leadership has brought it to new, unexpected lows.
His illustrious Pulitzer-winning wife is an extreme radical left, a Democrat to the core, and a vicious, vulgar Trump-hater. Doesn't help at all.
Alienating our ancient allies in this part of the world for the sake of a twit is dumb as they come.

It is a grotesque sight.

Don't worry about it, it is a crisis, not the first in history.

Ukraine is very upset with the EU.

Ukraine is upset with everyone.

EU "green" policies, all the "ecological" madness that

Indeed, our policies towards Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees seem foolish and wasteful; we can't afford it. It's infuriating how these people( politicians) can spend our taxpayer money so carelessly without any accountability from Ukraine in return. In exchange, Ukraine dares to dictate to Poland what we can or shouldn't do. What on earth? Torq does not vote on those mental losers any longer.

No, it does not...A 20 dollar Timex is better than a 20,000 dollar Rolex.

Times - 2 seconds per month. Rolex - 2 seconds per day accuracy...

Also...Rolex comes with "My watch is a Rolex" hat for a dinner party and "My watch is a Timex" for the street.

For you, Mao was a centrist.

...and CNN is mainstream ...

For you, Franco was a moderate.

Many jews avoided gas chambers by fleeing to Spain, that were quite fascist in nature, but still valued human life a lot more than "civilized" german nazis...

Lyzko
25 Aug 2025  #834

Meanwhile, much of the Spanish population was being terrorized by those same civilized Germans
at Guernica!

Was a documentary about that years ago, namely about one of the bombers, a certain Henning Strumpel,
and how objectively calm, indeed, dispassionately matter of fact, about the wanton murder of thousands
of innocent civilians.

Lovely, eh?

Polish President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a bill on Monday to prolong benefits for Ukrainian refugees, arguing the legislation needs a rework.

The current system of payments is set to expire in September.

I told you, azzholes, not to let them in 3 years ago...didn't I...

Do you, morons, realize how many Ukrainian men died because you let those refugees in?

Velund

Ukraine has threatened Polish President Karol Nawrocki with serious consequences for his initiative to ban all Bandera symbols at the legislative level. This was reported by the ukrainian media outlet "European Pravda" with reference to a Ukrainian official.

According to an anonymous source, Kyiv is studying the legal consequences of such a step and its possible impact on Ukrainians living in Poland.

"Any decisions to equate Ukrainian symbols with Nazi ones will require a reaction from the Ukrainian side," the source noted.

Stop trying to stir shìt. Poles and Ukrainians are mature enough to deal with difficult history.

Bring the Katyń victims back to life, stop denying your countries myriad crimes, get out of Ukraine and maybe people will take you seriously.

his initiative to ban all Bandera symbols at the legislative level

Great idea, Mr President! One could say it's way too late but better late than never. Nobody should be allowed to wave red-and-black nazi banderist szmata in Poland without consequences.

Ukraine has threatened Polish President Karol Nawrocki with serious consequences

I'm sure he's shaking with fear 😂

Nawro

... and of course the entire sh*tstorm continues after the President of the Ukrainian Association in Poland insulted Karol Nawrocki and Leśkiewicz (Nawrocki's press officer) replied in kind.

The past is the past and nationalism only hurts Poland. Time to look at important things, not past grievances where the perps are all long dead.

Torq

The past is the past and nationalism only hurts Poland.

What about Ukrainian nationalism?

past grievances

Imagine if Germany still worshipped nazis as heroes and there were streets, squares, stadiums, monuments or whatnot dedicated to Hitler, Heydrich or Eichmann.

I'm sorry but Ukraine will have to deal with their nazi genocidal past or Poland will veto their entrance to the EU. We cannot allow Ukraine marching into the EU in Waffen-SS Galizien uniforms.

It's much more than just "past grievances". There are victims of the cruel animal-like genocide still lying in nameless pits and their families are still refused to give their loved ones proper burial. Even Hutu in Rwanda don't oppose proper burial to their Tutsi victims. Ukraine should aim to achieve at least African standards in this regard.
