Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 28

They have sleepless nights, look who is the most active on PF.

Yeah, they know that they are going to lose this war.....

russian kids violently attack a girl whose father was killed in Ukraine.... and had been taunting her with 'at least I still have a father' for quite some time.... teachers did/said nothing...

Is this a sign that russians are turning against the war or the usual russian cruelty toward anyone they perceive as weak?

Is this a sign

Another young scumbag just ruined his life in the most idiotic way he could think of, just to show his personal dislike for this girl.

His motto for the next few years will be "Thank God I still have both my soft balls with me."

Cold hell in Kyiv

Trump: Putin ready for a week-long ceasefire

bild.de/politik/ausland-und-internationales/wegen-der-kalten-temperaturen-trump-putin-bereit-fuer-1-woche-feuerpause-auf-kiew-697b9779e0862a349aeb5859

US President Trump claims he asked Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin to refrain from firing bombs and missiles at Kyiv for a week because of the cold there. Putin agreed. Trump said at a cabinet meeting in Washington on Thursday: "I personally asked President Putin not to fire on Kyiv and the other cities for a week. And he agreed, and I must tell you, that was very kind." There has been no confirmation from Moscow so far.

For weeks, the Kremlin has been relentlessly shelling the population of Kyiv. Russian soldiers are deliberately bombing residential buildings, power plants, and the electricity grid. Heating systems in the Ukrainian capital are repeatedly failing in temperatures as low as minus ten degrees Celsius. Temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees Celsius are forecast for Kyiv next week!....

Hopefully.....no heat in this cold is inhuman!

....
The water supply is also repeatedly disrupted due to the attacks. Observers have already warned of the harshest winter of the war for Ukraine. Russian cold terror is rampant, and it is almost unbelievable how the Ukrainians defy the freezing temperatures and the Russian attacks night after night. Germany recently increased its winter aid to Ukraine by another 15 million euros to 85 million euros in light of the ongoing Russian attacks on the country's electricity and heating infrastructure.

There is a message being distributed through Russian military telegrams, that the high command has issued an order to avoid attacks on Kiev's or its suburbs' energy infrastructure - beginning from 1/28 and until further notice.

So in combination with Trump's statement, it seems there is a high probability this message is authentic.

--//--

Fine by me.

Another humiliation for the Hohols, who started all this by targeting our oil infrastructure - but now had to run to daddy to complain and ask him to stop "Big, Bad, Putin".

They were so happy each time a Russian refinery was lit up, but when the lights went out in Kiev they very abruptly changed their tune.

End result: Russia loses 8-10% of refining capacity (in a context where we had twice more capacity than we needed), and Ukraine loses ALL NON-NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION. Great success!!!

Classic FAFO.

No, the Orcs started this by obeying their dictator's order to start a three-day invasion of Ukraine.

@Lazarus

These assh*les always ask for a ceasefire, and then violate them - to distract from their failures.

They begged for a "grain export" ceasefire - but then gleefully targeted every Russian naval ship or oil tanker in the Black Sea. When missiles began arriving in Odessa again, they started up their sad lament about evil orcs.

They asked for an energy ceasefire, and it held, up until the moment they got ejected from Kursk. Once they got kicked out of Kursk, in order to lighten the mood in the international press - they started hitting Russian refineries. It seemingly worked - thanks to friendly media coverage in the West.

Russia - through diplomatic channels - asked them to stop targeting refineries. They refused. Instead, drone attacks on Russia increased - expanding from refineries to a wider nomenclature of targets.

They brought it to this. For four years this was not done, but they kept poking Russia and finally "found out". Now they understand - and it is evident they do. Everyone is telling Zelensky to go and do a new "energy ceasefire" with Russia. Initially Russia refused, but it seems Trump has convinced the Kremlin otherwise.

Hahaha!

I mean, I do feel bad that people in Kiev are sitting with zero heat or light in -20C weather. I have friends there, and love the city.

They simply have very incompetent leadership, that acts very emotionally, cannot accomplish anything it starts, and doesn't want to take responsibility for any of it.

They're constantly improvising. Early on it worked well, now not so much.

Perhaps the price of voting in a 40 year old comedian.

It takes a russian to get miffed that people in a country russia invaded are fighting back...

This is the kind of crap you support...

Which has been defending them against their mortal enemy for so long? Is this incompetence?

"She was on the sled. It tore her apart," said his nephew.

I said it before, and I will say it again - those drone operators who hunt civilians should be treated like Waffen-SS on capture. No trial.

Wise leadership is knowing when to fight and when to sit down and talk.

Like the Pygmies that they are, they allow themselves to be lead about by their White Masters from London and Paris and Washington.

They were about to do a deal with us, but then BoJo arrived and told them - "Quit it - we're gonna fight this one out!". Idiots listened to Johnson, even though nobody listens to him in his own country.

Other times they were led on by false promises from Macron, Scholz, Biden.

They should have their own head on their shoulders, and do what they feel is right - not what is expected by the fancy people in the countries where their kids go to school to.

Who cares about your refineries ? That is a military target. Put some of your crappy air defenses there.

What is needed is clear - more missiles to hit more refineries.

And after the war don't bother repairing them because we are not gonna go back to buying oil from murderers.

When is the parade in Pokrovsk BTW ? Once again the NNs thought about a massive assault before the peace talks - result was more farm boys dead and more overtime at the teatowel factory.

I saw one NN was in hospital with no arms and no legs and they got him a laptop as a present.

Bobko

Russian army lives on diesel power.

Diesel output was largely unaffected.

If a refinery is military - so then is a power plant.

Good luck to NN lawyers making that case in the Hague

These lawyers of course will be paid for by western taxpayers, while pathetic NN commanders claim they have alzheimers

I don't understand... what's the difference in your mind?

A refinery produces fuel that you can put in a tank, or armored personnel carrier - yes?

A power plant gives electricity to a factory that produces artillery shells and drones - yes?

A power plant gives electricity to a factory that produces artillery shells and drones

Artillery shells and drones aren't manufactured in Kiev. Kiev is home to millions of defenseless people living in -20-degree weather. These people will not forget this, just as the Russians did not forget the blockade of Leningrad.

The factories have generators

But anyway you are fully aware that it is North Nigerian policy to terrorize local women and children, and has been since February 2022.

This has intensified now they have no possibility of hitting well defended military targets, and they have made zero progress in the conventional war for 2 years.

Anyone who presses a button to launch an NN missile is a war criminal

Bobko

And the Russian government will transition all civilians to horses and carts - before it cuts fuel supplies to the army by even one liter.

Agree?

Artillery shells and drones aren't manufactured in Kiev

Kiev features one of the densest concentrations of defense enterprises in the entire former Soviet Union. With Dnipro and Zaporozhia following closely.

Don't write about things you don't know anything about.

Nigerian policy to terrorize local women and children, and has been since February 2022.

No sir, it is you that are fully aware that for nearly four years Russia did everything to avoid making life in Kiev difficult.

Absent some truly sickening instances of Russian military excesses against civilians (as in Kherson's famous "safaris"), it is Russia that has prosecuted one of the most humane wars in human history.

Russia's war in Ukraine is remarkable for its "light" touch on civilians. You know this - I know this.

Want to see wars with tens and hundreds of thousands of dead civilians - go look instead at your American colleagues' wars.

Maybe see what your French friends do in West and Central Africa.

ne of the most humane wars in human history.

There is nothing 'humane' about wanting to deprive people of their own identity.... Ukrainians aren't russians, don't look up to russians and don't want to be russians and don't want to be governed by russians....

A Ukrainian (long before the war) told me almost no russian (no matter how good willed) really understands how much Ukrainians don't want to be them.

Bobko

I have little energy to discuss these Sophistic statements...

If we understand "nothing" - then who are they? Martians? Are we from Venus? What makes mutual intelligibility so difficult? Do not attempt even to tell me now your tall tales about Russias representing some separate biological type.

If this desire to "not be Russian" is so strong - what does it manifest itself in? Most normal people don't really care about what country they live in, as long as things are comfortable - so if you can agree that that is the base line, then what is the nature of your proof for this strong desire?

I think I understand Ukrainians very well.

They are sneaky, scheming, thieving, murderous bastards.

Basically us. Minus the imperial regalia.

ussias representing some separate biological type

No, it's a cultural type that died out in Europe over 100 years ago.

I understand Ukrainians ... sneaky, scheming, thieving, murderous bastards.

That's not Poland's experience over the last 10-15 year at all. They fit into Poland and the Polish way of doing things in ways that russians don't or can't.

I have Ukrainian and Belarusian students that mostly can't be distinguished from Poles (apart from accent and sometimes that's tricky).

I've met and dealt with russians in Poland before.... very alien, especially the 'russian death stare' (where you're talking to them and they're staring at some non-discernible point in space waiting for you to finish). Ukrainians don't do that... and what is it about, anyway? A different Ukrainian I knew was as freaked out about it as I was...

I have Ukrainian, Belarussian and Russian students too. They're indistinguishable. If I couldn't see their data (birthplace etc.) in the eregister, I would never know if they were R, U or B.

If this desire to "not be Russian" is so strong - what does it manifest itself in?

In the peoples resilience and the military holding back Russian invaders for 4 years....LOL!!!!

You have no defence, Russia is the unwanted invader. And for Ukrainians there would be nothing "comfortable" living under the Russian yolk.
Can you really not see that???
