This evening I watched the documentary: The Zero Line: Inside Russia's War.
A harrowing watch which left me feeling quite depressed to say the least. It really brought home the brutality and hopelessness of the situation inside Russia. Very brave people who had the courage to speak out.
It tells of Russian commanders 'zeroing' ( executing ) their own troops as told by four Russian soldiers who escaped. The documentary also interviews civilians and Russian dissidents who were tortured and raped.
