Don't be such a pessimist

Hmm...I always thought you supported Ukraine in this war.

loser..

Din't hold your breath, Milo, it's impossible...I'm a born loser. 😞

Poland and the UK have signed a defensive pact...

It is pathetic, those people are incompetent. Making some meaningless gestures and marketing it as something gold.
Where are real pacts with Scandinavia and some other countries of the region that share our concerns.?

n in funds for military purchases in 2026 thanks to the EU loan.

I have a question, who is going pay off this loan?

I have a question, who is going pay off this loan?

Either Russia via reparations or the EU

Either Russia via reparations or the EU

Are we going to war with Russia then? If not, Are we talking their frozen assets to pay off that lean and other incurring expenses? If not, it mean that the EU is going to pay it off. In that case it is a gift not loan.
Unless Germany made a deal with Ukrainie that would benefit Germany.
It is a bizarre operation, liberal elites are clearly incompetent and outright treasonous.

Tacitus

Are we going to war with Russia then?

Supporting Ukraine makes it less likely that we will have to fight Russia down the line.

And supporting Ukraine also decreases the cost of deterrence.

Imagine if after a Russian victory, Poland would be forced to fortify the Polish-Ukrainian border similar to how it is securing the border to Kaliningrad right now. That alone would be significantly more expensive than Poland's share of the EU loan.

It is a bizarre operation

Quite the opposite. Best case scenario, it allows Ukraine to continue the fight and eventually win against Russia, resulting in Russia being forced to finance the loan with its' frozen asset.

Worst case: It allows to Ukraine to continue the fight, buying us more time, weakening Russia while absorbing Russia's damage output for us. At the cost of a pittance of the EU budget.

Sure, in a perfect world with no war we could use the money for something else. But supporting Ukraine is really the smartest strategical choice the EU can make. And if we are being honest, it os a decision that greatly benefits the Eastern European countries who view Russia as their main geopolitical danger. Countries like Spain or Portugal have less reason to be enthusiastic about it.

@Tacitus Still, that loan should be paid off by Ukraine. Giving them free money is not a good idea.

Giving them free money is not a good idea.

Why not? Do you really think that the EU gets the short stick of the deal right now?

It is the Ukrainians who are dying each day to fight the Russians, Ukrainian cities are being bombarded each night. While we get to sleep safely.

Most of the money is being reinvested in Euro-Ukrainian joint-ventures and direct purchases from European defense companies who gain invaluable insight into modern combat conditions.

Agreed 100%, why do so many people not see this?

Russia is fvcked part 166..... I think this war will end within a year.....

When AmeRICO, under Clinton's regime, bombed Yugoslavia, Europe didn't care. Why do they pretend to care now about Ukraine?

When AmeRICO, under Clinton's regime, bombed Yugoslavia, Europe didn't care.

It was a NATO mission to protect civilians and involved European planes

The Europeans tried to be reasonable with the Serbs and the result was Srebrenica

Some Europeans like Macron tried to talk sense into Putler before the invasion and the result was Bucha

North Nigerian scum have been attacking civilians again. Unfortunately after a hard night on the stolen vodka they decided that all apartment blocks look the same and flew one into Romania - Galati is quite a big city with the obvious landmark of the Dunaj so no idea how they could make such a mistake.

Most likely outcome is that the war criminals will face extradition to Romania and hopefully jail

Do you really think that the EU gets the short stick of the deal right now?

Yes I do. Helping is fine but giving them mony for free, is not.
Unless, there is a catch. Those money are going to be used to buy European weapons. In that case it means German and French weapons. All the rest of the EU countries will have to pay for it. I don't think so. Sooner or later that cheat system will blow up into your face.

It is the Ukrainians who are dying each day to fight the Russians,

That emotional appeal which means you have no arguments.

in Euro-Ukrainian joint-ventures and direct purchases from European defense companies

Aha, that is what I was talking about. It all sound nice but why would the EU pay for it. It can be sorted on the national level.
Here is why - to suck money from suckers.

Tacitus

Helping is fine but giving them mony for free, is not.

They are fighting and weakening our biggest geopolitical threat. Those 3000k+ Russians tanks they have destroyed will never roll on Warsaw, those thousands of Russian rockets and missiles that have been used against Ukraine will never rain on Polish cities.

That emotional appeal which means you have no arguments

I have made plenty of arguments, including the vastly higher costs for Poland in case of a Russian victory. But sometimes a nonsensical argument (like claiming that Ukraine benefits from the situation more than the EU) is deserving of an outburst.

It all sound nice but why would the EU pay for i

Because this affects the security of the EU and thus it should be financed by a broad coalition of countries. An arrangement that greatly benefits Poland, because it means that it'll only be contributing a small part while larger economies like Italy and France who have otherwise donated little to Ukraine will contribute more.

Sooner or later that cheat system

I really don't understand how someone who is supposedly looking after Poland's interests can hold this view.

I could understand it if you were from e.g. Spain. Russia would be half a continent away, you'd barely effected by the Ukrainian refugee crisis and thus could be annoyed that the EU now follows the urging of the Eastern Europeans and now spends money on aiding Ukraine.

But the current system is so obviously favorable towards Poland (and the Baltics). It funds the struggle against Poland's greatest threat and prevents a collapse of Ukraine with all the negative consequences for Poland (vastly more refugees, higher costs of deterrence) and since it takes the economic weight of the EU countries into consideration, it won't even cost Poland much money.

They are fighting and weakening our biggest geopolitical threat.

Obviously, it doesn't mean we need to bled ourselves dry just to help them. I'm all about help but grounded in reality. There is no magic wand.
---
Ukraine benefits from the situation more than the EU)

Their oligarchy clearly benefis the most from the situation.
---
An arrangement that greatly benefits Poland,

No, that arrangement greatly benefits those countries that have a large potential for military production, that money will go directly to those few countries. While others will indebt themselves without clear economical benefit.
That the reality after we strip off all slogans and highly sounding principled speeches. Hence I don't like such arrangements.
The same with that SAVE loan, it happened to be exactly what I said is doing to be. I'm right 10/10, yet some people say I'm wrong.
Really?
----
I really don't understand h

Because so far we have experience with all those allegedly beneficial agreements and arrangements turning into another F you sucker feats. We pay, have a little gain and someone else benefits greatly at our expense.
If the EU want to have any future, your liberal elites need to go or change their colonial mindset, Simple.

Apparently russian generals are using defective maps (altered on purpose?) and think the front is kilometers ahead of where it is...

Accurate maps require internet which of course NN front line troops are not allowed (in case they write to their faithless girlfriends and tell them they are standing ankle deep in **** with no food and no ammunition)

So their commanders are forced to use these made up maps (and of course are too pussy to complain)

When AmeRICO, under Clinton's regime, bombed Yugoslavia, Europe didn't care.

"NATO wanted to occupy Serbia... They set an ultimatum" The famous American professor revealed the true background to the breakup of Yugoslavia and the demonization of Serbs

The historian believes that the goal of the USA was far from the protection of human rights

The well-known American historian and professor at the University of Arizona, David Gibbs, in last year's appearance on the YouTube channel "Neutrality Studies" openly exposed, as he says, the manipulations and propaganda that accompanied the breakup of Yugoslavia, with special reference to the role of the USA, Slobodan Milošević and the Serbian people.

Gibbs pointed out that in the Western media, Milošević has been presented for years as the sole culprit and warmonger, but that things are not nearly as simple as that.

- He had his mistakes, like everyone in that situation, but presenting Milošević as the Hitler of the Balkans was pure political propaganda - said Gibbs.

He recalled that during the key negotiations, especially those in Rambouillet in 1999, the Serbian side eventually agreed to almost all the demands of the international community, including Kosovo's autonomy and foreign presence.

However, Gibbs claims, that's when what he calls the true face of American policy appears - the demand that NATO troops have the right to move freely throughout the territory of Yugoslavia, practically turning the country into an occupation zone.

- It was no longer a peace plan. That was an ultimatum. The Americans knew that nobody serious in Belgrade could accept conditions that de facto meant occupation - he explained.

The historian believes that the goal of the USA was far from the protection of human rights, rather they wanted to show dominance, both over Serbia and Europe, through a demonstration of force.

- The NATO bombing was not a response to the rejection of the agreement, but a pre-planned act, a demonstrative exercise of force and a message to the rest of the world that America rules- said Gibbs.

In the show, he particularly emphasized that the Serbs, despite their demonization, repeatedly showed a willingness to compromise, but that unilateral demands and the military logic of the West made any peaceful way out of the crisis impossible.

As are your friends, The Russians, and maybe your "Brown Nosing" of the Russians is one reason why you are so disliked...

Anyway, back to the important stuff....your Russian friends are losing the war in Ukraine and Serbian "Brown Nosing" will further humiliate your nation.
