For weeks now german border guards pick up hundreds of asylum seekers send by Lukaschenko....thousands by now who made through Poland even as far as Brandenburg and Berlin...

Border guards alone can't secure every meter between EU members green borders...it's just not possible....you need a more physical deterrent to keep them out!

It's interesting to know that since the government propaganda here in Poland suggests that Polish border guards manage to keep the border secure. Yet there is an increasing number of reports in the media that groups of immigrants are found elsewhere in the forest areas near the Belarus border preparing themselves to set off for Germany. And so we have the "Drang nach Westen" these days. The good old days of the "Drang nach Osten" are only an echo of the past!

The situation is becoming similar to that on the Chroatian border with Bosnia where thousands of immigrants play the game of getting into Croatia and from there into Germany.

Must Germany be so popular??? Dammit.....

Two problems: today, the scum risks nothing while crossing and gets rewarded when done - white man's stupidity on display in full colors.

In a normal country with the instinct of self-preservations, the border guards would be ordered (not just authorized) to shoot to kill the invaders and those few who would succeed would be deported the same day without hearings and appeals. No documents? Prison until they get them. Still no documents? Life-no-parole.

With that in place and known to all, would you try to break into Germany?

It would be easier to scratch all welfare money every one of them is automatically entitled to once he sets foot on german soil....that is the "Fluchtursache" #1.

I wait for the government to recognize that and answer that problem pragmatically with a common sense....but still now in vain!

Merkel's weak nerves and rash emotional decision in 2015 to not contest the right of the entire populations of failed countries (if they fail catastrophically enough*) to move to Germany and claim welfare while not giving back anything in return is still being felt.

Anyone with a brain and a functioning understanding of history and political and social structures of much of the third world realized that 2015 was not any kind of definitive stance but the humble beginning of something much larger.

Merkel - worst post WWII European leader, a rolling catastrophe who is _still_ not out of office.... (that's not even mentioning her catastrophic and rash emotional decision to not pursue more nuclear power and to make the country dependent on Russia and has given the country one of the highest carbon footprints in Europe...)

Merkel started out between a rock and a bloody hard place.....and always remained, as the Germans say, "zwischen zwei Stuehlen", because she was seemingly always under attack. While, as I've posted numerous times thus far, her heart was in the right place, her execution was nothing short of deeply flawed! Were I a German citizen, I'd doubtless have chosen her to be my leader. At the same time, as with our own president, I'm severely critical of her as well.

I'm unimpressed, because........ wait for it........ THAT'S THE JOB!!!!!! IF SHE WAS SO AFFECTED BY THE PRESSURE THAT SHE COULDN'T MAKE RATIONAL DECISION SHE SHOULD HAVE RESIGNED YEARS AGO!!!!!!!

Yeah....before her there was no AfD....and now her CDU it's on the ground and need to be rebuild in the opposition, she destroyed her own party ....we have an "Energiewende" where energy becomes extremely expensive and Germany needs to import energy from neighbours who kept their nuclear plants...Germany looks like a country stuck in the last century with it's non-working but overboarding bureaucracy...digitalization is practically non-existent....Jews get attacked in broad daylight.....etc.etc.etc..

People still have to pay thousands of Dollar to several traffickers on their routes to Europe....only the richest (who could pay all these traffickers) and only the strongest (meaning no women with children, no old, no sick, no weak people really in need of help) will ever make it to Germany's borders!

Those young, strong, healthy males with money (only some tiny percent with real chances to get asylum status) can then reap the reward of Merkel's stupid decision!

They are not here because in need of refugium, they only want the promised money....Germany doesn't need them and for sure doesn't want them...that is a mockery of the holy and righteous law of asylum!

No one who says she did anything against human trafficking networks has looked at the situation on the ground (or water).

There was an article in onet.pl a couple of weeks ago from someone who'd taken the Belarusian route to Poland - as anyone with brains might guess, they were beaten and robbed by Belarusian police/border patrol/soldiers before making it through the border and meeting up with the chauffeur who took them straight to the closest asylum processing cen.... no, of course not - he took them to Germany.
