It is not her who would have to change the story though, it is the prince who would have to confess to sleeping with her. Which he can not, because given the evidence that she and others were forced into it by Epstein and his accomplice, it would not look believable that their sex was not only consensual, but also not part of prostitution.


I do not know if she was forced to sleep with the prince specifically, but she was likely abused in other ways by Epstein and others and this should reflect on how we talk about it. She is a victim, not a "slut".

You really need to check your moral compass here. There is overwhelming evidence that those women were forced into this, not that they were able to legallly consent to it in the first place. But you seem to have a very warped picture of women, if your posts are anything to go by.

They're not really doing anything new. After all, prostitution has been around in some form since before the dawn of agriculture, and the types of men who gravitate toward adult clubs and prostitutes have been around since the dawn of towns and cities.

If Giuffre hadn't gone to Thailand to do a massage qualification and met her husband, as she grew older she would quite possibly have ended up as a kind of 'madam' for Epstein and taken over at least a portion of Maxwell's duties as procurer of girls. I'm willing to guess that the girls in Epstein's coterie received cash bonuses for any other girls they introduced.

This is not a straightforward case because the girls were not abducted, raped, beaten, kept as sex slaves etc. Giuffre cannot really claim that she was 'forced' to have sex with Prince Andrew. She had gotten sucked into a way of life which she didn't know how to get out of and couldn't say no if Maxwell or Epstein told her to do her 'job'. When she managed to physically distance herself by getting away to another country, she found a regular guy to look after her (her future husband) and thus was strong enough to break the link with Epstein.

Ghislaine Maxwell certainly deserves to be prosecuted and should receive a jail sentence but I think that a virtual life sentence is excessive. In the UK if you are sentenced for several different charges you usually serve the sentences concurrently but it seems that she may have to serve time for each charge separately - don't know if that's a US thing?? So she's looking at life behind bars basically which is a bit much. Yes, she did a very wrong thing, both legally and morally, but ten years of jail would be fair enough punishment I think.

I was making the point that Virginia Giuffre in particular (who didn't testify in the recent case) was already hardened to that way of life to a point where she was ready to draw other girls into it, girls much younger than herself, only fourteen years old. She is only one among many and there's a different story behind each.
