Ironside, the Reform party are here to stay and will be the main challengers at the next election. The first past the post system in this country is unfair. Labour had more or less the same votes when they lost in 2019, so they haven't gained many more supporters. Reform has done well, for a party that is only 4 years old, and had over 4,000000 votes and should have been 3rd this time. If the voting system had been PR instead of FPTP, they would have had over 100 seats in parliament. You can see how unfair the system is by the latest result for seats...

Green: 4 seats 1.9m votes
Plaid Cymru: 4 seats 0.2m votes
Lib Dem: 71 seats 3.5m votes

So my question is, can the Reform Party set roots in this existing system, become stronger and more organized, and get better results the next time? I know they have potential with over four million voters and the ability to gain more.
What is unclear to me is whether or not it can become a permanent feature on the British political scene.
Do they even have politicians who are recognizable nationally other than Farage? What about financial support? Any willing parties? Those sorts of things.

Re politicians who are recognizable nationally, they have only a hand full who are well known nationally, but this will grow in the next couple of years. There might be a few of the better ex Tory MP's who will deflect to Reform as well
