Majorities!

Most german laws need only a simple majority...to make them, to change them or to throw them in the bin.
A few laws, mostly to do with our Basic Law, need a also a much bigger consent...but no matter what, to change laws you need majorities.

Right now the support for changing certain laws has the majority support "only" in the populace, as nearly every survey shows, but not the same influence in the politics....

It's not a good situation for our societies to be in...its creaking and crunching everywhere. I guess something will have to give sooner or later!

This goes beyond migration and includes all sorts of other issues, especially energy and nuclear power. The German political establishment is totally alienated from the citizenry and pursuing its own goals which are not shard by most citizens.

The next important elections are in some east german states next year...the next big federal elections are (probably) 2029, if the current gov doesn't break down before...

The West-Germany back then 89/90 was probably the best Germany ever...wealthy, orderly, proud, respected, successful...people wanted to be part of it...there is nothing to regret!
