Its no science. Map is a travesty. When you enter this page of Wikipedia you entered a world of fiction. But such a pages are necessary if one wants to justify creation of a new nation (Croats) and in the process negate other, original nation or to say people (Serbs).

It's not even sure that man Tomislav really existed or if existed what was his real name, neither is sure his ethnicity. Very obscure sources from the time of his supposed rule. By one Latin/Papal source (one of oldest on the region on this subject) among the list of supposed names of the local ruler (that ``Croat science`` taking as Tomislav) are versions such as Sebijslav or Sebijslavf or Sebeslavus rex. But no grave of this man. No grave of ever any ``Croatian king.`` And 99% of sources of ``Croatian Kingdom and Tomislav`` coming from 19 century. But for sure not a single old source to support map from that page and of course that map corresponds with a map of Nazi supported Independent state of Croatia from WWII.

So, the oldest sources possibly speaks of some Serbian local ruler and we do know that the local populace was Serbian from other more trustworthy sources. For example, not historical records on Croats ever in old Dubrovnik writings. Only about Serbs. And guess what, Dubrovnik Catholic Serb populace is the only populace of Dalmatia that was primarily Catholic and loyal to Western Roman Empire. They never in history changed religion. The rest of Dalmatia was mostly Orthodox and then moved on Catholicism and when Pope came in conflict with Catholic Nemanjic magnates (read in Catholic online encyclopedia about this) they turned to Orthodoxy and with them moved a lot of Dalmatian Serbs to Orthodoxy. What is also interesting, no genocide on Orthodox Serbs ever happened in Dubrovnik. Genocide blossomed among those converted Serbs, those who were Orthodox-Catholic-Orthodox-Catholic from generation to generation and when at one moment of history Roman Popes used opportunity created by Germany, to once and for all get rid of Orthodoxy during WWII.

Please, world, cobble together an image of Merkel bathing in a tub full of Serbian blood (a la Bathory)...

And the Chinese government has its hands covered in the blood of Uyghurs, Tibetans (not to mention tens of millions of ethnic Chinese) so.... no the Serbian moral compass is still stuck on "evil".

After all, we can help to Uyghurs and Tibetans only by friendly ties with China. We can help Poland only if we have good relations with Russia. How else to affect things and not destroy Serbia in the process.

I think LJUTENICA is of minced tomato and paprika, etc things, while we make AJVAR of exclusively red paprika, etc things.

Ajvar is quite popular here, though it doesn't quite taste the same.

Duda greatly insulted Serbs and Serbia because he didn`t call representatives of Serbia last year on a victory anniversary of WWII in Poland. The feeling of insult and humiliation was vividly present in the air here. Serbs felt betrayed by Poland and Poland's leadership because it was Serbian people that was only South Slavic people who resisted Hitler and Nazis. All others (who until then mainly collaborated with Nazis) started resisting in the steps of Serbs and horrendous Serbian casualties, only after the 1943 year when it became obvious that Germany losing.

You should do that. You should post all that is painful to you. I would like to know of it, of all cases where Russians harmed Poles just because of inter-Christian antagonisms. By speaking of it we may prevent future tragedies, as I already said.

In a long history of Polish-Serbian relations, secrets, hidden agendas, treachery and any kind of malevolence didn`t exist. By having such a relationship Poles and Serbs may be saved the essence of Christianity and helped survivor of Slavic civilization. Certainly, I like to think this way. Our ancestors didn`t ask each other on religion before they hugged each others and trusted with life to each others.

Actually, Catholic Poles were first to come in aid to Orthodox Serbs during Turkish yoke. Polish King Warnencyk died at Varna in Bulgaria, in an attempt to push Turks from Slavic South. Maybe the greatest Polish national hero of all times, Zawisha Cyarny died in Serbian despotate, killed by Turks, while helping in the liberation of Serbia. In turn, Serbs played a great role in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, in the transfer of Winged Cavalry tactics to Poles, etc.

If you came to Serbia, Serbs would tell you that they live as Serbs because Poles wanted so and were ready to sacrifice themselves for that. Much later came Russians to support us against Turks when they were free from Mongols. But if Poles were not here for us, in those first days of the invasion, Russians would have arrived too late.

I used that in a lasagne recently, as an experiment. It was ok, though not rich enough for the sauce. Biedronka sell it.


The Ukrainian stuff is usually good; it depends how much of a kick you want it to have. I use it quite a lot, and made some last year. The Hungarian alternative that comes in tubes used to be good in a gulash; I've not seen that in the shops for a while. If you want to use it as a dip, the Serbian kind with aubergines in is ideal.

I used to just about mainline that stuff.... I still miss it.... I make a killer gulyas/porkolt hybrid that would probably horrify hungarians but everyone that's had it always wants more and more and more...

I am curious. Do you have anywhere in Poland to buy imported Serbian ajvar or ljutenica?
