You should feel sorry for them and give them all the money you have.

Or just vote for the Dems in 2020, it would be the same thing.

Plus, voting in Illinois, the most corrupt state of the Union, i

It because Democrats have controlled this state for decades, everything they touch turns into garbage. You can pick any Dem controlled city, such as San Francisco. It has turned into the biggest cesspool in the entire country! Homeless and drug attics fill the streets and feces is scattered everywhere. This is Nancy Pelosi district, she doesn't care, because she lives behind a gated community.(walls)

washingtonpost.com/opinions/san-franciscos-heartbreaking-homelessness-problem/2019/05/26/e22e1f56-7d7f-11e9-b1f3-b233fe5811ef_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.a5916eb89df1

My idea is to ship all the Illegal scum into her California Sanctuary State and see how long they really enjoy it, like they said, all are welcome in open border California.

, Mr. Immigrant Son? Education is rare amongst the Trump followers

Why did such a genius crop failure emigrate to the USA then? If you are so intelligent, you could have stayed and tried to improve your country instead of behaving like a locust.

Answer Mazur`s question already or are you afraid??????

Because their income is too low. Why is it too low? Because their jobs don't pay enough.

And why don't there jobs pay enough ?
Because they aren't worth anymore then what they are being paid.
Then go get an education or skill so you can get a job that does pay enough.
If you are only worth $10 an hour how could your employer make a profit by paying you $15 an hour.
Some people just don't have the brains to hold a high paying job.
People with jobs that don't pay enough qualify for unlimited subsidies, tax breaks and welfare benefits that are not afforded by people who do have jobs that pay enough.

What is so hard to get TheOther ????
If you are low income YOU CAN'T AFFORD things that are not in your budget and that is the way it works.
Clerks at Wal-mart can't afford to take their kids to Disney World, McDonalds and give them an I-phone like a C.E.O. for a corporation can.

But hell no, the American way is to keep up with the Jones even if it means going into deep debt.
You millennials want it new and want it now without sacrificing crap to get it.

You should feel sorry for them and give them all the money you have.

Why, all that would do is enable them to continue to live beyond their means.

To be vested in outcome, you have to put money on the table. With no money on the table, people act stupid.
When you only receive, you are not a citizen; you are a child.

Well yes - the US democracy is far from perfect- i can think of a thousand ways it could be improved

But it sure as hell beats the Russian system - one dude controlling all branches of govt plus the media, academia and business. Surpised how he finds time for his workd beating ice hockey performances really.

Shallow like a dog pi*s on the sidewalk...
Would you post the same bs if he were a Norwegian? What does his nationality have to do with what he posted which, btw, are quotes. And brilliant.

That

the US democracy is far from perfect

sounds like a mother from hell who just straved her kids to death saying, "I never said I was a perfect mother".

Velund

Well yes - the US democracy is far from perfect

So it will be good idea to stop replicating it to every country of the world.

cms neuf
28 May 2019  #549

Probably not - but the Norwegian govt doesn't pay its youth a few roubles an hour to spam message boards across the world. So that is not a likely scenario.

I think it is better to promote democracy and rule of law than to install friendly corrupt dictators. For example you can look at the countries which were given the full support of the western democracies in the 90s - Poland, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia and compare them with those where the Russian MO has been tried - Armenia, Serbia, Moldova, Uzbekistan.

All those countries had roughly the same wealth in 1989 - what has happened since then ?

Velund
28 May 2019  #550

Armenia, Serbia, Moldova, Uzbekistan. is far better than Iraq, Lybia, Afghanistan, Sudan, Yemen.....

And promoting the rule of US law outside of US national territory is not welcomed as well.

cms neuf
28 May 2019  #551

Yes but they were far better than them in 1989 too.

Here in Poland we certainly welcome and appreciate the support and mentoring of our biggest ally - doesn't matter who is in charge - Bush, Clinton, Obama, Trump - they have all kept an eye on Poland's blossoming into a democracy with rising living standards.

Velund

we certainly welcome and appreciate the support and mentoring of our biggest ally

So, be ready to accept consequences, once your ally will need cannon fodder to save investments of their masters into military industrial complex.

Nothing personal, just the business as usual...

Poland is lucky to be on the US military welfare, the EU economic welfare while still being able to resist the assault of the Western decadence and migrants thanks to the Polish - thank you, God - nationalism and patriotism. Yes, that dirty and hateful word - patriotism.

Rich can because they are rich

And how did they get rich?

And why don't there jobs pay enough ?

Not everyone has a college degree, for a start. You can't have only bosses with high salaries, you have to have blue collar workers, too. Many of them are being paid slave wages that are not to enough to survive on. Thus the so-called working poor who do two or three jobs to make ends meet. You know that, I know that. Don't pretend that everything is fine in the USA and the outlook is rosy. It's not.

Why did such a genius crop failure emigrate to the USA then?

To raise the average IQ, you clown. If we had only people like you, we would be a third world shi*thole. LOL!

What an uncalled for post Vurlund.
What prompted you to do this ?
This is not the place to be threatening Poland with such fearful propaganda.
Lets try to get along here instead of frivolous threats that will never happen.

The main mistake of farm animals is to think that they are pets. ;)

The main mistake of the farmer is when he starts writing checks with his mouth that he can't cash with his ass.

Rich Mazur
28 May 2019  #559

And how did they get rich?

I sense it's supposed to be a rhetorical question. So, please tell me who are "they" and what is "rich". Once you define them tell us how "they" got "rich".

johnny reb

Well we know they didn't build it, somebody else did.

Rich Mazur

This is not the place to be threatening Poland with such fearful propaganda.

I don't see it as a threat but a reminder that hooking up with a country - that would be the US - that loves wars has consequences.

BTW, I find it ironic that the US, when it needs a ride, calls Moscow. I didn't say, funny. Just ironic.
What is it? 50 million bucks per passenger? I hope it's a round trip fare. The funny part is that those are rides to nowhere and for nothing. We can't even spy on Russia from there with the Russians watching.

@Rich Mazur

Hey Rich. This is off-topic and more than a little late, but I wanted to respond to something you said earlier in a different thread. At some point, somewhere... you said you had always wanted to visit Russia, but that now given the political climate, the passport you carry, etc. it's an impossible dream.

I wanted to tell you then, but forgot - you can and should come to Russia. Your American passport is no problem. During the recent World Cup in Russia (took place well after the annexation of Crimea and the giving of support to Assad in Syria), many thousands of your compatriots visited Russia without incident. Average Russians have very warm feelings towards Americans, hooked as they are on HBO, Netflix, Instagram, and all that. If you came now, I think you would have an unforgettable time.

In some way, I'm afraid you would be disappointed in that how much modern Russia resembles your own country. In terms of out of control migration, conspicuous consumption, divided politics, and erosion of core values.

Rich Mazur

you would be disappointed in that how much modern Russia resembles your own country.

Thanks for remembering my post and posting yours.
The above quote...Does it mean that Russia resembles the US or that it does not? I am not clear. I went to visit Poland two years ago and my disappointment was from the fact that Poland looks and feels like the US. A typical Polish mall is exactly like what we have here. The stores, signs, and that awful food court. The plus: few fat people.

I would love to go the typical route: Moscow, St. Petersburg, with a train ride in between but not as part of an organized tour. I hate those.

Bobko

@Rich Mazur

I think it does resemble the US, more and more, and there may be more to this than just recent history. Margaret Thatcher once said: "Europe was created by history. America by philosophy." I think this same divide that separates Americans from their Continental cousins, exists also for Russia. But more than philosophy (Russia experimented for close to a century with an "idea"), I think the frontier mentality also has a role. America had Lewis and Clark and Manifest Destiny, while Russia had the Cossacks and the race to the Pacific. Europeans, holed up in their tiny spaces as they are, simply cannot comprehend the enormous spaces of America and Russia, and what shapes a Western cattle-wrangler or a Russian settler in Siberia.

These two places are definitely creations of Europe, but turned into something completely different along the way. At this point, I think they have more in common with each other, than what created them.

Velund

Malls is not the best place to look for differences.

BTW - you can now choose "classic" overnight train between Moscow/SPB or high speed train that take about 4 hours in a daytime.

Look about "Golden Ring" of cities with historical landmarks around Moscow.

For all the many faults of "The West", Russia is certainly not in any position to offer any constructive advice.
Russia has been a permanent car crash......

Rich Mazur
28 May 2019  #567

At this point, I think they have more in common with each other, than what created them.

What really upsets me is the realization that Russia and the US are not the allies they used to be. With the USSR and the Warsaw Pact gone, we have no points of conflict other than that idiotic NATO that refuses to just die or at least shrink.

Do kids in Russia study English? In Poland, English is mandatory from K till 12 so asking "do you speak English" is a duh! kind of question.

you can now choose "classic" overnight train between Moscow/SPB or high speed train that take about 4 hours in a daytime.

I just read about it. Without trying to start a Russia vs US train war, that Russian train is twice as fast at 150 mph than our DC to Boston averaging 68 mph. I wonder if it is possible to split the trip and stay overnight in a city between the two ends.

Miloslaw
28 May 2019  #568

that Russian train is twice as fast at 150 mph than our DC to Boston averaging 68 mph

Both very slow.
Look at the speeds of trains in Europe and Japan.......

Rich Mazur
28 May 2019  #569

How many billions do Japan and EU save under our military umbrella? That is no small change and it can buy a lot of fast trains. Russia is carrying its own defense load.

This will not earn me any friends here but on the respect scale, those three are not even close.

Miloslaw
28 May 2019  #570

How many billions do Japan and EU save under our military umbrella?

Rich, that is The USA's problem.
They can sort it if they want to.
Not an excuse for slow trains though.
