USA News and Poland - Part 1

Trump is a very good president for the US so far...

You bet he is. Long over due. Can you imagine if Crooked Hillary would have been elected. HORRORS !
To bad he has had to waste so much time draining the Swamp and the corruption that goes so deep.
Trump is still cleaning up Obama's messes. (The horrible Iranian Deal that Obama made that most likely will take us to war now with Iran)

All while the Dems have fought him at every corner offering NOTHING to Make America Great Again besides letting a million illegal's into our country and who knows how many terrorists and how many tons of opiates.

Before Trump leaves office he will surpass Ronald Reagan as the best president in our life time.

and a military budget that's out of control.

And this is why I invested in several companies that produce products for America's military complex.
All of those stocks have sky rocketed for me. (Enough to buy a new Trump M.A.G.A. hat, a red one)
My Greenie friends are still invested in wind and solar power which have tanked as they stand there stomping their feet screaming, Do Over - Do Over - I Hate Trump

Yeah, who cares about the future of our children and grandchildren if one can make a quick buck or two, right? May they all drown in the debt that piles up because of the farm bill, the tax cut for the rich and the military budget.

who cares about the future of our children and grandchildren

Trump does as he cares about protecting America's children with a strong military.
How fast you forget that Obama didn't care about this country's safety and let our military run down like never before.
Our boys didn't even have the spare parts to fix what we had. Remember now ?
Trump had to spend mega bucks to whip our military back in shape.
Right then and there I started investing in companies that supplied the Military complex.
(Take a look at what my KTOS has done in the last two months, up 41%)
Trump has had to clean up several of these messes that Obama caused.
How can you be so blind to what a great president Trump is.

tax cut for the rich

The rich (upper 1%) pay 90% of the taxes in this country.
Over 50% of the people in this country pay no income tax at all so save that rant.

the farm bill

Will take some time but in the long run will be a blessing.
You just don't get it do you.

The rich (upper 1%) pay 90% of the taxes in this country.

Nonsense. In 2016 (so before the tax cut), the top 1% of all taxpayers with an average gross income > $400K paid 37.3% of all federal income taxes.

protecting America's children with a strong military.

Look at our military budget and compare it to the rest of the world. 'nough said.

protecting America's children with a strong military.

Watching American children get bombed, shot and maimed in foreign deserts is certainly an interesting definition of "protecting".

Not that I care, it's funny to see how they send their people to be torn apart in foreign countries where they simply shouldn't be.

No, I said the top 1% period pay 90% of the taxes.

compare it to the rest of the world

The rest of the world doesn't have near the interests to protect as we do.
You can always go back to Australia where you came from if you are unhappy here in the U.S.A.
M.A.G.A. !

interests to protect

You mean "the need to send millions of young people to be slaughtered in the killing fields of Afghanistan and other deserts".

Yes, you're right. Other countries are smarter than to spend huge amounts of cash on pointless wars.

Watching American children get bombed, shot and maimed in foreign deserts is certainly an interesting definition of "protecting".

That sick circular logic is more perverse than that. We send more troops there to "protect" the troops already there.
It does not getting any more circular and sick. And the facts that it's just us. No Chinese, no Russians, no Japanese, no Germans. Just the Americans. Why? Nobody knows and nobody tells - cynical inferences aside.

You are a lot milder than I am when this subject comes up. That budget of ours - at 40% of the world's total - is more obscene than triple X p*rn.

On top of that, this obscenity has no enemy! If China is it, than why are we sending boatloads of cash to them?
This means that China is our ally and a dear trading partner like Japan. So why that 700 billion a year obscenity?

Do Over - Do Over - I Hate Trump

It quite embarrassing how the Dems are making fools out of themselves over this Mueller report. All I can see are a bunch of cry babies that didn't get their way.

"Old money" need special "care and feeding", especially if invested to shares of Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Teledyne and so on..

Do you want to see the descendants of the "founding fathers" gathering alms in Washington?

Rich Mazur

All I can see are a bunch of cry babies that didn't get their way.

That and the fact that they are fighters who never give up. They fight dirty and look for every opportunity to derail the weak RINO's. As opposed to the spineless RINO's who never fight and always fold - even when they control all three. RINO's couldn't govern if the Dems dissolved their party and just quit.

TheOther

That budget of ours

The 2018 farm bill was even bigger than the military budget. $867 billion! Add to that the record budget deficit and trade imbalance, and you know we are absolutely screwed. We are living on borrowed cash (and time), and there are still people out there who believe our economy is doing great.

I said the top 1% period pay 90% of the taxes.

Only in your imagination. Show me your source.

Rich Mazur

Add to that the record budget deficit and trade imbalance, and you know we are absolutely screwed.

Now I am with you - with just a small correction: "we" depends how old "we" are. I know what you mean, I am just playing a wiseguy.

Our favorite pass time which nobody wants to talk about because it's too depressing is not NFL or basketball. It's kicking the bucket down the road. Everybody does it to postpone the inevitable when only printing money is the solution and the destruction of the savers.

The US has become an unmanageable pile of corrupt crap. No change is ever possible because it would upset some damn "lobby" with wads of cash at the ready to grease the next elections. Military industrial complex included.

who cares about the future of our children and grandchildren

It doesn't look like the Opposition Party (the Democrat Congress) does as Trump has tried relentlessly to close our borders.
The Dems refuse to fund the Wall so what is Trump to do, his hands are tied.
The Democrats prefer the borders stay open for our children and grandchildren to drugs, terrorists, child sex trafficking, gangs, entitlements paid for by the American tax payers for OUR children that is siphoned off to illegal immigrants who have paid nothing, and on and on.

Trump has had a belly full of this non sense by putting America first and quit being the nice guy at the Americans safety and expense.

Bottom line is if anyone doesn't like living in America then go try and find someplace better.

Rich Mazur

The Dems refuse to fund the Wall so what is Trump to do, his hands are tied.

That excuse is wearing thin. RINO's had the House, the Senate, and the White House for two years!!!! and did nothing about ACA, DACA, immigration laws and that bloody wall. Nothing.

Even without the wall, Trump could have stopped all pedestrian border traffic and the remittances flowing to Mexico. Or slap a tax on them. He could refuse to sign the spending bills, too, but caved in.

It doesn't look like the Opposition Party

The walls are closing in on the Dumbocrats, they're are already throwing each other under the bus prior to the forthcoming spying investigation.

The Democratic Presidential field is just one big socialist organism with 23 demonic heads.

Bottom line is if anyone doesn't like living in America then go try and find someplace better.

And don't let that expat door hit you in the ass on the way out! lol

Show me your source.

Last October, Bloomberg reported that the top half of taxpayers pay 97% of all federal income tax. And the top 1% pay 37.3% of the total.
44% pay none at all.
I stand corrected.
We should give the top half another tax break as they still pay the most.

Rich Mazur
27 May 2019  #529

44% pay none at all.

People who pay no fed tax should not be allowed to vote in fed elections. Just as you have to own the stock to vote along with the other stockholders.

And don't let that expat door hit you in the ass on the way out! lol

Really, these Crack Pots could have chosen any country they wanted to migrate to but chose the U.S.A.
Now here all they do is b!tch how screwed up it is and what a horrible President we have.
I agree, don't let the door bang on your way out.

Velund

People who pay no fed tax should not be allowed to vote in fed elections.

I have better idea.

One citizen can have up to 5 votes.

First vote - everyone have it, it is citizen right, just like now.
Second vote - fir those who paid in taxes more than received in welfare and other benefits in a past election period.
Third vote - for those who served in army or completed some alternative service for state and society
Fourth vote - for a people that completed university and get a degree.
Fifth vote - for those who was decorated by government awards of some sort.

I think it will be 4 times better if there will be need 4 drunk drug addicis to overvote one Albert Einstein, instead of one. ;)

Rich Mazur
28 May 2019  #532

Good post.
I am not Einstein but the idea that some low-IQ pervert counts as much as I do makes me sick.
Plus, voting in Illinois, the most corrupt state of the Union, is really a colossal waste of time.

TheOther

People who pay no fed tax should not be allowed to vote in fed elections

Why do they pay only marginal or no federal income tax at all? Because their income is too low. Why is it too low? Because their jobs don't pay enough. So essentially you want to punish half the country for being poor and don't allow them to vote.

And don't let that expat door hit you in the ass on the way out!

You know the difference between an immigrant and an expat, Mr. Immigrant Son? Education is rare amongst the Trump followers... :)

I stand corrected.

Thank you.

Rich Mazur
28 May 2019  #534

Because their income is too low.

Poor people buy booze, cigs, and the diabetes-inducing sugary drinks. They should drop these, pay fed taxes and vote. Problem solved.
Another benefit: they will live longer and cost the society less.

Well, someone has to support our few remaining industries, don't you think? And rich people booze, puff and enjoy a Coke, too. The Libertarian dogma that it's your own fault if you're poor doesn't hold any water most of the time.

Rich Mazur

Rich can because they are rich. The poor have to choose: get drunk or pay fed taxes. Paying taxes is healthier.

You are a raycist. Those are nice people who are addicted to doing very little or nothing. You should feel sorry for them and give them all the money you have.
