Actually gun ownership rates are high in several European countries i.e. Sweden Czech republic etc. And they don't have a problem w shootings. W euro males have lost their masculinity so no wonder they don't understand the love for weapons.

Weapons won't do them any good though if they don't have the backbone to stand up for their country, their society, their families, etc. Hell in most countries if you shot some turd world invader while they burglarize your home and rape your wife/daughter it'd be YOU who goes to jail. My best explanation for this pacifism is that the Euros see themselves as "subjects" rather than citizens and that all the rights and privileges are handed down to the mere mortals by their kings and queens. It's a mentality based on the concept of their rulers arbitrarily dispensing favors. That is why they don't have the equivalent of the 1st Amendment and why the state of being disarmed that is so unnatural to us is so normal to them.
