And actually the Dems agreed to like 1 bil for the wall. He could've easily put up huge barriers in hot spots and combined it with military patrols.

Then there's the issue of taxes. I've never received a lower tax refund than under trump. I pay more taxes now than I ever did especially now that the state got raised. Sure he added a few bucks to every paycheck but with all the deductions he got rid of it's actually less income after taxes due to the tiny refunds.

Also trump said during a republican conference that he wants immigrants to come to work in all the supposed new factories that were never built. Remember when he kept talking about foxconn in Wisconsin how this yuuuuge factory would be built and give employment for thousands? Well they still haven't even poured the foundation.

Nonetheless despite all his shortcomings id take Trump on his worst day over Hillary on her best. In this election I want Andrew yang to win but I know he won't so in that case I'd take Trump again.

If Trump sent the military to stop the invaders his ratings would shoot up. That was one of his most important campaign promises to stop illegal immigration. Remember build the wall? Well he didn't get the wall funded when he had the chance with full rep control, didn't use executive orders like obama did to pass the things he wanted, and never sent the military despite saying he would. His base would absolutely love it if he sent the military and no more caravans got through.

Like Dirk, I am way past seeing US politics as binary - good vs bad. Trump did many things well but the border invasion he could not have handled any worse. Not because his intentions were bad.
