Paul's question was reportedly rejected on yesterday because it names the alleged Ukraine whistleblower.
Paul was trying to get his name on record.
Roberts has just joined the media and the DNC in suppressing evidence.
Seems to me that the accuser should be put on the stand to testify so Trump could cross examine his testimony.
The whistle blower would have met his demise already if Trumps name was Clinton.

(1) How many tiers did Trump inherit in January 2017,
(2) What has he done without involving Congress to make the US a two-tier society.

I think you have no idea how the system works. Collecting and presenting the evidence of guilt rests 100% with the prosecution, the House. Period. End.

The defendant has zero obligation to call witnesses or even defend himself. A defendant can ask his attorney to even skip the closing arguments.
The Senate is a jury. Juries DO NOT INVESTIGATE or CALL WITNESSES. Period. End.
Even if the Senate has the authority to do it, if in their opinion they have enough to return the verdict, there is no need for more information beyond what the prosecution produced at the time of filling.

Finally, the Senate has the sole authority to conduct its proceedings as it sees fit within the Senate's own rules and without any interference from the House. In some sick way, the House, if it were a person, could be charged with obstructing justice through jury intimidation, which is a felony.

If you think so then let me ask you this, "Why did the Congress refuse to call witnesses ?"

Trump will never allow his DoJ to go after Hillary - a just and logical thing to do - because he would pis* off enough voters to sway the elections in November to his disadvantage. Which is exactly what the fascists accused him of when he decided to ask Ukraine to investigate Bidens for "his own benefit".

Based on that logic, Trump should be impeached again by the fascists for not charging Hillary for "his own benefit" of getting some Democrat votes.

Congress was weighing in the benefit of calling witnesses, that's why! The attempt was not to "cover up" because they had something to hide.

Trump's being impeached, and rightly so, I might add, has zero to do with his poisonous, vicious, unpresidential demeanor alone. If it were only that, I suppose we'd all decent-thinking Americans simply have to live with, grin and bear it all, chalk same up to the manifestation of especially toxic times.

It's that what he did was unconstitutional, that's reason alone for impeachment.
