USA News and Poland - Part 2

I think nobody really feels threatened (at least not militarily)

Please, don't tell me that NATO is a favor to the US. Because if it is, the US should pay Germany and every other country where the US troops are.

Is this where that logic leads?

Please, don't tell me that NATO is a favor to the US.

For big parts of the german population it's exactly that (not for me though).

But the last time Germany's NATO membership was up to discussion was '89/90, as the future of a unified Germany was discussed by the "big powers"....where it showed quickly that a neutral Germany without NATO membership was not really up to discussion....

Trump constantly demands that Germany and other NATO members fulfill their obligations of 2% GDP for defense. That would turn the Germans into the largest military power on the continent. Conventional power of course, but still. Combine that with its economic power, and many people in Europe will start to feel very, very uncomfortable again. So careful what you ask for.

From thesun.co.uk:

ENDLESS BLOODSHED Inside Mexico's brutal drug cartels - who behead rivals with chainsaws and murder pregnant women and kids - as police hunt new 'El Chapo'

This is the country the US decided to form a union with and allow the millions of this human garbage to flow in. Raw sewage with cholera would be better.

My favorite term "morons" does not come even close in describing the US government and the morons who vote for it.

In same sick way, those lovely Latinos we allow in in large numbers make the worst of the NAZI"s running death camps look good.

Trump constantly demands that Germany and other NATO members fulfill their obligations of 2% GDP for defense.

Thats what happens when you have leftist spinsters becoming ministers of defense.

The deal (to which everyone including the USA agreed to) was to increase defense spending to 2% GDP by 2024. Now is 2019, so why is Trump whining and whinging like a five-year-old? When Germany finally meets the target, lots of countries will start crying about the evil Germans getting too powerful again ... and that will include the U.K. and the USA. And if Trump abolishes NATO, the Germans will sooner or later follow the French and go nuclear. Is that what the US wants?

Germany straight up said they dont plan on ever coughing up the 2%. Again, cucked countries with post meno defense ministers explains it all. The germans cant even handle their own country anymore and you think theyre going to enforce their will on other? Lol!!!

Rich Mazur

Germany straight up said they dont plan on ever coughing up the 2%.

Why should they? They know they have the US and its corrupt swamp that loves wars and the profits from the military bloat on their side. The US is too addicted to being "a super power" to even threaten to start packing, much less actually to start packing.

Germany has good eyesight and can see how we all stupidly smile at the sight of another 13 billion dollar aircraft carrier the US needs like Switzerland needs nuclear submarines.

When you have dumb cops standing guard by your house for free, why would you want to go shopping for an AR?

you think theyre going to enforce their will on other?

Read again. It's not about Germany enforcing their will on Europe, it's the about other countries on the continent fearing a resurrected German military power. Americans never understood why the Germans are so careful about their military now. It has nothing to do with "cucked" or female defense ministers. Germany simply learned its lesson. They are happy with the economic power they have.

Germany's military has been for all intents and purposes "eunuched", to coin a phrase, ever since the end of WWII!
Even more simply stated, Germany is practically the last country on earth of whose army one should be afraid.

I will be a minority voice now: LeBron is right not sticking it to the Chinese fascists. He and the NBA are exporters of entertainment and bring home big bucks. Walmart and others like it, are importers and send money and the American jobs to the fascists. So, on that basis alone, who is better for the US economy?

The NBA is not alone in kissing Chinese butts. Our government, Hollywood, and the gray masses do it every day, all day long. LeBron's only problem is that while who*ring for a buck in Asia, he is oh so brave mindlessly ripping into Trump and the US without any risk and fear of consequences.

A real hero, my ass.

You Russians know the right way to deal with the Chinese - send a bunch of conscripts to fight them in the middle of some freezing taiga for a few weeks.

That could change in a heartbeat with determined people at the top.

You mean if, for example, Ursula von der Leyen became Chancellor in '20?
Ain't gonna happen, bro, trust me! If anything, it seems that the country's (not so) gently
leaning to the far right.

But again, I glean all my news from semi-weekly phone conversations with German acquaintances
of many years, as well as keeping up with SPIEGEL-online.

You mean if, for example, Ursula von der Leyen became Chancellor in '20?

No, I mean that - lead by the "fine" examples of the U.K., the U.S., Turkey, Hungary or Italy for example, the Germans might one day decide that it's time for a right leaning politician again. Then what?

Lyzko

Looks as though they already have, if that Halle Synagogue shooting is any indicator. Scarcely some
lone right wing nut job, I'd say.

Exclusive: Military leader of Syrian Kurds tells US 'you are leaving us to be slaughtered'

More Fake News by the Trump Hater bias CNN.
The truth of the matter only 27 American troops were withdrawn from Syria.
CNN makes it sound like several brigades of American soldiers were withdrawn.
Does anyone even listen to CNN anymore ?

resurrected German military power.

Germany is so weak right now not even france is scared of a "resurrected german military power." Polands military could even take on germany now and win.

Thats what happens when leftist post menopausal spinsters run the defense ministry and chancellory.

Theyre too cucked to put more money towards a defense budget. They rather sponsor the demographic replacement of native tax paying germans who made the country its wealth and give sub 70 iq turd worlders apartments, food, cash to the tune of tens of billions a year. That couldve gone to defense to and itd way exceed 2% plus all the related jobs for native german in the defense industry since the turd worlders dont take those, or many other jobs for that matter hence their 74%+ unemployment rates.

It has nothing to do with "cucked" or female defense ministers.

Actually it has everything to do with it. Only cucks would spend tens of billions of a limited budget to house and feed hordes of unemployed turd worlders that rape and pillage at will instead of actually protecting the native citizens, building infrastructure, government programs to help native citizens who actually contribure to the country, etc., like non cucked poland does.

Germany is so weak right now not even france is scared of a "resurrected german military power."

Then, what the fu*ck are we still in NATO for if Europe is not afraid of anything?
BTW, I never liked Putin as much as now for that Kurds-Syria-Turkey bs.
Thanks, Vlad, for this and your help in 2016. You may have saved this country from itself.

From Pat Buchanan:

"Donald Trump Has Handed Putin the Middle East on a Plate" was the title of a Telegraph column. "Putin Seizes on Trump's Syria Retreat to Cement Middle East Role," said the Financial Times.

The UK would very likely get the right of first refusal if they craved for the job but for some weird reason never responded to the ad. Neither did the EU. Letting the American cowboys carry on and hiding behind the US apron is safer and costs ...like zero.

Further down in the article:

The Syria of which Putin is now supposedly king contains Hezbollah, al-Qaida, ISIS, Iranians, Kurds, Turks on its northern border and Israelis on its Golan Heights. Five hundred thousand Syrians are dead from the civil war. Half the pre-war population has been uprooted, and millions are in exile in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Europe.

It must have been such a thrill to be there and spend the American blood and the money the US does not have that we decided to let the Euros have a chance, too. The swamp, of course, does not like sharing the fun, but wouldn't authorize a declaration of war either. Go figure.

When Obama announced troop withdraw the Dems hailed him a great leader, but when Trump does it they claim " he's abandoning our friends".

What benefit do we get out of NATO again?? I know we pay way too much and receive nothing but grief in return.

Miloslaw
19 Oct 2019  #1438

What benefit do we get out of NATO again??

None at all.
USA needs to get out now so that Europe starts to increase expenditure on defence.
Having said that, Trump has made a huge mistake pulling out of Syria.
He should have waited longer.
And as for Americans hailing Putin as some kind of hero, I find that sad and laughable.

TheOther
19 Oct 2019  #1439

I know we pay way too much

Yawn! NATO members agreed to spend 2% GDP on their military by 2024. If America decides to pay more ... tough luck. Nobody forces us.

NATO members agreed to spend 2% GDP on their military by 2024

Yeah, but it's not enough.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure the UK and Poland already meet this target.
America needs to get tough on the slackers, especially France and Germany.
