I have never had a problem with Latino's here in the U.S. but I have with the Blacks years ago.

I have a BIG problem with all immigrants - Poles included. I don't want them anywhere near me. I don't want their bad English with a bad accent. I don't want to repeat what I just said until they get it.

Today, I went to the local Walmart. Not a single customer or an employee near me was born in the US. I felt like I left the country.

Back for a moment to ESL as taught by practically any foreign-born person with the right "connections", when I first entered the business way back in the mid-'80s, I can still recall going to a language school in Midtown Manhattan and encountering a rather well-spoken, academic-type woman with an ever so slight hint of a foreign accent and inquiring innocently whether she was in the English Department.

The woman smiled politely, if somewhat shyly, and replied that she was the French instructor and would never have been hired to teach English as it wasn't her first language. The same organization's rule applied to all translation service staff as well - only translate INTO the source/native language.
