we can't blame only them.

How about taking.. "In God We Trust" out of our Society.
That's when things started down hill my friend.

An unrelated question...With all the domestic leftists already here why do we import more of these idiots...

Lyzko

In G-d we trust, all others must pay cash.

There is something really weird going on in America

Nothing weird about it Rich.
For the past couple of generations, we have de emphasized family, faith and patriotism as a nation, and instead we have become an extremely "me-centered" society that is primarily focused on doing whatever makes ourselves happy in the moment.

Satan's big lie of, "If I am not hurting anyone then it is o.k." b.s.
But this single minded pursuit of individual happiness has resulted in much of the country being perpetually mired in loneliness, depression and/or addiction.
Does that help explain why America is destructing from within ?

Hitler tapped with frightening brilliance into the essential xenophobia lurking within the recesses of German society. Jews and Sinti-Roma were the immediate targets of this hatred, but were any other minority groups easily at hand within their midst, doubtless similarly punitive measures would have been taken. The frightening part of the entire mess is that Hitler was NO inexplicable phenomenon who sprang up out of nowhere, to the complete surprise to everybody, let alone, to the Germans themselves. Hitler was the ineluctable, virulent culmination of centuries of Jew hatred, repressed from after the Enlightenment up until the ill-fated Weimar Republic, a poor excuse for a "democratic" government, doomed from the outset as the country she sought to control had zero democratic underpinning!

Trump has most successfully tapped into the basic infantilism of the American "rugged individualism" gone radically amok. 'What was good enough for Daniel Boone's good enough for me!', or else, cry the mantra of those most rabid Trumpists who refuse to see the truth even when it's shoved down their throats. Odd the way the liberal media is excoriated daily on The Hill, whereas apparently the Right Wing Republican media never deviated from the truth in their lives:-)

Trump, a la Reagan, has sought to undo the fruits of the New Deal, he and his cohorts painting FDR into some type of misguided wacko, a monster who'd undermine the strength of our forefathers.

When will we ever learn?

@Lyzko
Hey Lyzko, Didn't you say you live in New Jersey? How come you didn't tell us about the good news?? Ok I will:)

New Jersey Democrat Congressman, Jeff Van Drew, will switch parties over Impeachment fraud! LOL

theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/12/14/new-jersey-democrat-congressman-jeff-van-drew-will-switch-parties-over-impeachment-fraud

Its not going well for Dums in other states as well.

foxnews.com/politics/dem-rep-from-trump-district-faces-rowdy-reception-at-town-hall-following-impeachment-endorsement

Another Liberal Dem from Trump district faces rowdy town hall, boos after backing impeachment hoax.

Its going to be a landslide for Trump. I wonder how many more Dems will jump off this sinking ship?

Lyzko

Upset victories from the opposing side aren't completely uncommon in our history, Joker!
Just remember Adlai Stevenson's quip prior to his failed run for the White House way back in 1960.

Constituent after speech: Senator Stevenson, every thinking citizen in America should vote for you as President of the United States!

Stevenson: That's not enough, madam. I need a majority.

Notice how he refused to entertain your question and did a side track as usual to avoid you. lol
When you shove the truth down a Dems throat with the facts they can't handle it.

Joker
16 Dec 2019  #2169

Notice how he refused to entertain your question and did a side track as usual to avoid you. lol

Typical Libtard ploy, to be expected. They cant debate facts so they deflect, at least he didn't call us racist names like the other does.

Upset victories

No upsets or victories, your post was just more rambling.

This is a dully elected Democrat Representative currently serving in office that has switched to the Republican side. (mid-term)

@Joker
How did Jeff Van Drew turn into Senator Stevenson ?
Is there some kind of connection that I missed or was he just rambling again with his mixed up crayons ?
Same old ploy, different day.

I was merely cautioning certain of us not to count their chickens before they're hatched!
Admittedly, this particular Democrat was more than likely a closet Republican at heart, merely
lying in wait for the right time to turn back to what they always were.....NOT a Democrat,
instead, a turncoat who decided to go when the going got tough.
Sound familiar?

Joker

a turncoat who decided to go when the going got tough.

How much do you want to bet he's not the only Rat that is getting to jump ship..

The Dems are in big trouble with Independent voters because of these Impeachment/ collusion hoaxes that have been going on 3 years already. They started this BS before his Inauguration. They're are not legislating, but only out for political revenge. The Dems are the new party of Hate, so enjoy it!

Perhaps, by 2024 the socialist snowflakes will be replaced in your party??????????

Lyzko

The Dems have been in hot water for years, ever since Clinton.

Rich Mazur
17 Dec 2019  #2175

You guys have it all wrong. The fight is not between the left and the right. That's a deflection.

The real fight is between the patriots aka "nationalists" and the international, stateless globalist human excrement like Soros, assisted by the leftist billionaires like that pervert Zuckerberg, and the too-big-to-fail bankers who replaced the old-time communists and the classical fascists.

The only connection between these two groups is their hate of our rights to speak and to defend ourselves.

In the meantime...Quoting:

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court refused Monday to hear a major case on homelessness, letting stand a ruling that protects homeless people's right to sleep on the sidewalk or in public parks if no other shelter is available.

In a separate opinion, justice Richard Mazur wrote that the cities can powerwash all the sidewalks under their jurisdiction as long as the pressure is less than 250 psi.

Lyzko
17 Dec 2019  #2176

We're conflating issues here, folks!
The REAL fight is against the entire Civil Rights Era which the Trump supporters want to roll back with a vengeance, this naturally includes Roe v. Wade.

I call this throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

johnny reb
17 Dec 2019  #2177

We're conflating issues

No, not we, YOU are the one that is flatus the issues here.

Trump supporters want to roll back with a vengeance, this naturally includes Roe v. Wade.

So what's wrong with the Trump supporters being against MURDER ?

Rich Mazur
17 Dec 2019  #2178

Perfect question. To pre-emptively fight off the nonsense that it's not murder because abortions are legal, I will paraphrase your question:

So what's wrong with the Trump supporters being against executions without trials, witnesses, evidence, appeals, and a governor commutation to life-no-parole to be served with an adoptive family?

Just give us the baby, bit*ch, and get lost.

TheOther
17 Dec 2019  #2179

the entire Civil Rights Era which the Trump supporters want to roll back with a vengeance

They dream of segregation and putting their Stepford wives back in their rightful place: in the kitchen, chained to the stove.

So what's wrong with the Trump supporters

Everything. Why do you ask?

Count the number of cars, the square feet of living space, and the purchasing power per hour of labor and

Sellers are trying to surpass one another in the notion of how to sell you something unnecessary under the slogan "three for the price of two", although you probably do not _really_ need any one of the offered items at all. But banksters should get their interest, and politicians should report on the growth in jobs and positive trends in economics (i.e. consumption growth).

For example, the average wardrobe of an American woman has more than 100 items. Over 80 years of her life, she will spend at least $ 125 thousand on "trinkets", buying more than 3 thousand items of clothing, 145 handbags, 185 dresses and more than 270 pairs of shoes. 145 bags! Why so much? Why is it necessary to waste resources, energy and create jobs for the production of 145 handbags per female soul? Those Americans who are now under 25 will spend 200 thousand dollars on "trinkets" for life.

An average American child today has at least 70 items of toys, and while he grows up, parents will spend up to 6.5 thousand dollars on toys. At the same time, psychologists have established: the more toys a child has, the more problems with mental development. This is a direct path either to debilitation or to a child psychologist with a view to solving the problem of increased excitability and inability to concentrate on anything. Parents buy all sorts of rubbish for children to keep them behind. After a few days, all this turns into trash and soon ends up in the trash.

At the same time, the joke about a "smart boy from such a poor Jewish family that if he were born as a girl, he would have absolutely nothing to play" starting to shine with new colors. ;)

Earth resources are not enough to provide everyone with an American way of life. However, many peoples are drawn to it, not seeing an alternative. In any modern metropolis, 98% (!!!!) of the volume of products received there in different forms is already in the trash six months later. The modern economy is work on the replenishment of landfills and the loading of waste incineration plants. A weak consolation for the Russians may be that the average American produces 940 kg of household waste per year, while the Russian citizen produces only about 400 kg. At the same time, globally, people annually dump 1.3 billion tons, or about a third of the food produced in the trash. In obese America, the rate is 40%. In the world where hunger is a quite common problem, 30% of produced food is trashed (yes, I understand that it is bad idea to simply feed everyone in Sub-Saharan Africa, because first thing they will do afrer a free lunch is fcuk to make more free lunch consumers).

Residents of developing countries want and will consume more. At the same time, primary resource extraction will not grow at the same pace. More and more countries are beginning to realize that it will be the robbery of their own descendants to extract and give away irreplaceable resources just for cut paper or zeros in computer. But even for the "money" received for resources that is already sold, not everything can be received in return - the list of restrictions, embargoes, sanctions and other things like that is very long.

So the Americans will have to prepare to reduce consumption. It is unavoidable. And, please, do not give examples of excessive consumption as an example of excellence - it is life in debt, and not only in cash form. And growing trillions of American debt confirm that United States cannot really afford current level of spending.

as long as the pressure is less than 250 psi.

Maybe mobile meat chopper will be more humane way?

Lyzko
17 Dec 2019  #2181

Johnny, you use the word "murder" loosely!
Murder must show both intent as well as opportunity, furthermore, the victim must be shown to be a sentient being, cognizant of the world around them

Somehow, a fetus doesn't exactly qualify, as any doctor will tell you....considering he hasn't been bought out by the Far Right:-)

Possibly "ending/terminating an unborn life" puts a finer point on things.

Rich Mazur
17 Dec 2019  #2182

Maybe mobile meat chopper will be more humane way?

We would need 250 psi to remove the sh*it that was deposited a year ago and baked into the sidewalk by the sun. The human garbage that made those deposits would be given a ten-minute notice.

As for the rest of your post, I am not sure what your point is. That we waste a lot? So what?

Velund
17 Dec 2019  #2183

Rich, in both cases above you tend to fight sympthoms, not the root cause of disease. ;)

Rich Mazur
17 Dec 2019  #2184

First, I wasn't like super serious. More like venting. Second, I have some sympathy for the real victims and zero sympathy for the victims of their own stupidity. Like addiction to some sh*it that "I just want to try, but I know I can stop any time I want". If that's the reasoning, then go die at the city dump, but don't sh*it where I walk.

That's my position. Your turn to explain the root of the disease and what to do about it.

Finally, Mitch grew a pair....Quoting:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday flatly rejected Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's call for a deal on live witnesses at President Trump's impeachment trial - at least before the trial starts.

"We don't create impeachments," McConnell said. "We judge them."

Spot on, Mitch. You are my man. For now.

Murder must show both intent as well as opportunity

To stop the life of a helpless living being with intent is murder.
Sugar coat your sht all you want to and it is still sht.
I know that you are not old enough to be retired like Rich & I so you must be taking another year off from teaching to be here all day every day and night posting aye ?

Rich Mazur
17 Dec 2019  #2186

The procedure is so sick that the proponents never, even want to show it on TV. They did show other procedures - like colonoscopy and open heart surgery. Even brain. But never an abortion. Ask him why.

As far as murder and intent, I will settle for homicide. Homicide does not require intent. Reckless disregard for human life will do fine and get you a nice stretch to think things over.

TheOther
17 Dec 2019  #2187

To stop the life of a helpless living being with intent is murder.

So if a lady has a one night stand and pops a morning-after pill, that's murder? You people are seriously confused.

"We don't create impeachments," McConnell said. "We judge them."

But before that we consult with the defendant and coordinate our actions. True pretend patriots.

johnny reb
17 Dec 2019  #2188

Ask him why.

I'll take your advice Rich.
Easier just to block his annoyance again along with TheUtter one.

TheOther

Yeah, we all know how that works. Ha ha ha.

Joker
18 Dec 2019  #2190

"We don't create impeachments," McConnell said. "We judge them."

He's just obeying "The Constitution" The House of Reps are supposed to gather the evidence and prosecute the case. The Senate acts as the Jury.

Obviously, the Dems case is so weak they want to move the goal posts again, same old song and dance from these buffoons!

New national polls today have Trump beating every clown car candidate:

USA TODAY Poll: Impeached or not, Trump leads his Democratic rivals for another term:
usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2019/12/16/trump-impeachment-2020-election-leads-democratic-rivals/2663659001

Somehow, a fetus doesn't exactly qualify,

What about infanticide? This is murder condoned only by the Leftie Dems.

The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable," Northam said. "The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."

Are you sure you still want to be a Democrat?
