We'll see

He had great policies, but yes, his manners were not his best quality...lol

All I can do is watch and wait and see how badly the Dems screw up the county. Hopefully, the people will take the Congress back in 2 years.

Get you popcorn and doobies out!😊

Washington imposed sanctions on the hit team dispatched to capture or kill Khashoggi in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, and placed visa restrictions on 76 others it said had threatened dissidents overseas.

The crown prince, who the U.S. says ordered Khashoggi's silencing, was left untouched.
If I were Biden I would be bombing Saudi Arabia and the crown prince for what they did to us on 9/11 instead of Syria.
Mr. joe biden, obozo, the Clintons, the military complex and the rest of the Swamp war machine are making way to much money selling weapons to the crown prince to hold him accountable.

TRUMP 2024 !

But Roz,

Ptak, she loves the attention as she knows damn well I am just teasing her.
Just let it go for once please and just stay on topic.

political strategist and host of an independently produced French-language program that airs on Sputnik France.

"Independently"? lol Sputnik is a Russian state-owned news agency (in the past it was called "Voice of Russia" and "RIA Novosti"). It's like that TV channel RT (formerly Russia Today) - also funded by the Russian government and with the same goals and agenda.

also funded by the Russian government and with the same goals and agenda.

Which makes them honest about the setup and whose interests they serve. Not so with the Western presstitutes. Quoting myself:

The American reporters, with all the protections the society gave them to watch and expose the crooks in Washington and state capitals, morphed into a despicable bunch of pussies, eager to please the American ruling elites, their beloved presidents, and protected minorities. I could cite enough examples in support of what you just read to make your eyes bleed, but I will stop now and leave you with this thought: even the Soviet Pravda editors were morally superior, as kissing their masters' rear ends was the only way to stay out of gulags; the American reporters do it voluntarily and love it.

but it does not have "more oil under it than any other country on earth".

Why not? Earth is not so flat, as someone think, so all russian and middle east oil is also, somewhere under US, but quite far. ;)

"Independently"?

And you think that Sputnik is unable to put some independently produced program in their broadcasting schedule?

Apparently not, considering that there are people who fall for this "independent" news bullsh1t... :))

"independent" news bullsh1t...

To be completely precise, there is NO independent press in this world. Anyone need to eat something, and it is hard to get money from thin air. So, reporters and writers finally start to depend from someone who funds them. ;)

Paulina
2 Mar 2021  #2408

Yeah, but there's a difference between being funded by a government and a private company. Expecting an unbiased reporting on the US from a Russian state-owned news agency is pretty naive, to put it midly... :)))

Velund

Yes. In United States, only government obligated to something by 1st amendment. Private companies may mute anyone, censor everything they want, and have no problems at all.

BTW: The main opposition cesspools in Russia, such as Ekho Moskvy, are financed by private companies, in which the state is the largest shareholder. Looks weird?

Like Putin in Russia... :D

Looks weird?

In Russia all kinds of things looks weird, tbh... If Bulgakov lived he could write another book about it, I imagine... lol I will stop at this for the time being.

Velund, you beat me to the punch, you bad man...
Damn right...You can sue the government here and actually win. You can't do s**t about Farsebook and other presstitues. You know...They are private. Tough.

In Russia all kinds of things look weird,..

Speaking of Russia...I really take offense to the allegations that Navalny was poisoned by the Russian government. If they want you dead, you will die like that idiot that had polonium 210 for lunch. Incompetence is not tolerated at the FSB or whatever department is responsible for such things.

Just like the US. That Iranian terrorist in chief became a major pita so he is gone. What would Russia be any less good at such things?

Hey, Novichok, learn better English...It should be:

Why would Russia be any less good at such things?

Got it, moron?

Well Biden is taking heat for bombing Syria here in the U.S. too.
A Notre Dame Law School professor is among the legal experts who condemned U.S. President Joe Biden's bombing of Syria Thursday as a clear violation of international law.

Of course it was and Mr. biden should be held accountable.
biden still has not even briefed the Senators on it yet.
And there are a lot of them in both parties that are not happy about the bombing.
Everyone that I talked to on the street today agreed that biden committed an act of war on Iran.

@Joker Hey, these idiots that voted for Xiden should have known this is the crap they were gonna get..

No sh*t Joker, Don't forget a dollar more for gasoline in one month. Cost of gas up, cost of everything up

Mr. biden has gutted everything Trump worked so hard for to protect our southern border.
Now just look at the crisis that we have there.
Seems his big ideas aren't working out so well for him.
I wonder how long it will be before Kamala takes over and they put joey out to pasture.

Cost of gas up,

Only 40% since Bite Me took office six weeks ago.
Seems like shutting down the Keystone pipeline wasn't such a good idea after all.....not to mention it put 14,000 people out of work.
So in six weeks Mr.biden has committed an act of war, destroyed our southern border, raised gas prices 40%, presented a 2 Trillion Covid bill with billions of dollars for things in it that are not even related to Covid, and signed over fifty executive orders.

All in just six weeks !
It's almost like he is hell bent on destroying America as fast as he can.
Even my Liberal friends are starting to get nervous about America's future.

My greatest sadistic pleasure and satisfaction would be if the US government raised taxes to match the outgo and send the itemized tax bill to each taxpayer to show where the money went - down to studying frogs in Kenya.

Johnny, this is not a government. The criminal gang took over; they are treating every American as a criminal if you did not vote for the insanity

Why am I the only one here who refers to them as "ruling mob"?
My greatest failure on this forum is that I was not able to unweasel the "democracy" idiots here and make them hate their ruling mobs the way I hate mine.

Perhaps a "greatests misses" list is in order?

V.P. Kamala is living proof of just how far science has come.
An Indian mother and a Jamaican father can now produce an African-American.
Truly amazing.

The Super Spreader in Chief is now releasing covid positive illegal aliens into the country! As the infection rate has been on a downward trend, the Democrats want more ppl to get infected, so they can impose more draconian policies upon us.

A number of migrants seeking asylum and released by Border Patrol have tested positive to Covid-19 tests in Brownsville, Texas. Some plan to continue their journey to other cities and states.

Just yesterday, a minivan packed with 25 illegals broke thru the southern border, crossed over a highway and crashed into a semi- tractor, killing everyone....Thanks Biden!

The newly imposed U.S. sanctions offer Putin his first impressions of the Biden administration; his conclusions must either be that Biden is soft or that Biden does not understand what is important to Putin which is Nord Stream 2.

Paulina
3 Mar 2021  #2429

Well Biden is taking heat for bombing Syria here in the U.S. too.

I'm not commenting on Biden's decision. I simply pointed out that Sputnik isn't an independent source.

If they want you dead, you will die

Unless they didn't want him dead. If he died it would cause more of an international uproar and more anger at home - he is the only opposition leader left alive that could actually compete with Putin. What was done to him was enough of a warning - the signal was loud and clear and scary - the gloves are off. It was still very radical (even though Navalny didn't die) and "in your face", but it looks like Putin got scared due to what was happening in Belarus at that time (I imagine how shocking such mass protests in that country must have been for him) - he didn't want to see the same things happening in Russia and Navalny could lead such protests. So, it was a warning to Navalny and anyone who would think of trying to do a repetition of Belarusian protests in Russia. I don't think any sane politician (who wants to stay alive or not end up in a corrective labour colony - scary place) would try to compete/go against Putin in Russia nowadays. Navalny must be crazy considering he went back to Russia - there's no way in hell I would... He's either stupid/naive or so brave that he's verging on being a saint or sth...

Incompetence is not tolerated at the FSB

If it was a failure then heads would roll, noone is perfect. But, as I wrote, it think it could be deliberate.

Sputnik isn't an independent source.

What is an independent source? Do you think there is a newspaper or a TV/radio station that is independent?
