The people are pretty friendly and the cuisine has a French influence and is very good.

He took me to a Vietnamese restaurant near his home and I can vouch for the food!

But he did mention the dangerous roads and they have plenty of cars in the cities.

Sold on the streets and market places by vendors with a huge variety to choose from at a below reasonable price.

When I read "market place" I shuddered.

I would rather eat a dead rat from a Petri dish than anything from a "market place" in Asia.

Since nothing good ever came from Asia I developed that Pavlovian reflex - and especially a reaction to "market" like in "wet market". I can almost smell it from here.

Street food in any country is the best food there is goofy.
If you see a lot of locals eating there, it's safe and good.

I was born there in a third world,I have to agree with him that it is a shiethole of a place but the people from there coming to west are mostly way more successful then him(Rich) and so are there kids(My kids are under 30 & make over a buck fifty in 6 figures).
