The wealth of the dollar comes not from perception or even US stability but more so because it's the international currency. There's been attempts to replace it but nonetheless the dollar rules. Even in North Korea the dollar is the preferred currency.

But yes, the issue is constant printing of money, adding more and more debt, and now inflation.

The US is an empire in decline while China is the upstart, there's no denying it.

It could be even a picture in the email or an attached document that's embedded with the virus/trojan.


Seeing as how you thought these attacks happen by "one a-hole giving out a password" there's a good chance you may have caused the next one if you worked at a large organization.

Joker, Today I went to U Gazdy. Don't.

The food is really good and the prices are fine. It's the furniture. All hard and painful wood. After 30 minutes, my ass has had it and I just wanted to leave. The place is so small that all tables have chairs on one side and a narrow and very uncomfortable bench on the other. That bench was so bad that I had to move.

Ikea is better in this respect.

No, haven't been there yet. For ambiance, to me, Jameson is great. In winter, they have that really neat fireplace in the middle.

The ones I've been to are Old Warsaw which I absoutely hated (overpriced for bland buffet food and tacky 80's interior with mirrors everywhere - thank goodness it went out of business), Jolly Inn which despite being buffet style actually has pretty good food especially the chicken and potato pancakes, haven't been there in years though.. and one on Milwaukee around Niles I think it's called Red Apple which also is buffet style and has always been bland the few times I've been there. More selection than Jolly Inn but I think the food is better at Jolly Inn... or at least was when I was living around that area and going there regularly.

The most recent one I've been to is Smak Tak on Elston Ave back in the fall last year. It's a smaller place but it's not buffet style which I'm not a big fan of and idk why so many Polish restaurants in Chicago serve food that way. Smak Tak had really good food though, nice interior done kind of in the goral style with a lot of wood, and prices are reasonable too. I'd say that place has probably the best food out of the Polish restaurants around here, at least the ones I've been to.

I also heard of Lutnia (I think I was there once a long long time ago when we lived in the city) that's more upscale, but can't remember if it was good or not. I do recall that they have czernina which very few places do (duck blood soup)

There's also a few on the south side but I've never been to them... I'd go to eat at Polish restaurants more often but there's not many in the northern suburbs plus I rarely go to the city anymore

No decent Polish restaurant by me in fact none,I'd open one and make the chef 50% partner if I get a reliable person who could also run it.even the Polish deli in a Hasidic town Lakewood by me in NJ sux. Especially something like a milk bar in Poland

Its been there for 3 years that I know of, so its relatively new.. Ive eaten there about 5 times and liked everything so far. They do a lot of takeout coz of the ChinaVirus.

Make reservations if you plan on dining there bc they are always busy.

They have awesome dumplings there. I always like the Jolly coz you can really pig out at that place..lol And the food is decent.


They closed down the location by Milwaukee/Belmont but the one by Devon is still open.. I haven't been there in 10 years...lol


I used to live right by there and never checked it out... I always went to Smakosz by Lawrence and Central... All homemade with Babcia in the kitchen and reasonable prices.


There is a place called "The Highlander House" off Archer... I always want to go there and the place looks huge too.

Polish food sucks because it has to be served very hot to be passable. That is why I prefer Pita Inn and the low-fat food they serve.

I cant think of any good Polish food thats served cold. You might be on to something.. I dont eat fish out of cans either..lol
