Unfortunately both patients and doctors (staff usually comes out from the medical professions) have only gone from a few hours of courses about nutrition. (If you don't believe me, ask any doctor how many hours/courses he has spent on nutrition)
So wether it's public or private is of no argument here as that's an economical debate and this is about health.
In my experience the lack of knowledge about nutritions and looking at food mostly by the scope of a physicist (energy in, energy out) is damning as it's not only about energy but, also effects on hormones and gene activation.
Pork for instance is bad as pigs basically eats anything of food, good or bad. Also many meat products are labeled as chicken or Turkey while only having 7% of it while rest is from pig meat.
Don't trust labels, check the content/ingredients
That Gold star solution with additional costs are only afforded for those with enough money! Basically forcing those with worse economy into public healthcare...
I truly find people with a middle class background despicable when they talk about tax funded institutions, taxing people enough for them to hamper their development...
Especially young generations are stuck, without finding permanent workplaces cause of union laws and older generation thinking the market stayed the same... Most people are very careful about hiring anyone these days, COVID included.
So you can take your public tax funds where pepper grows!
