A revolver does not have a magazine. A revolver does not have a round in the chamber. It has an easily viewed cylinder where one can see if the weapon is loaded or not. it literally takes 2 seconds to verify.

For Baldwin I would suggest simply looking at the front of the weapon and pulling the trigger 6 times to see.
