never went hunting
Well it's really not hunting, it's more like harvesting.
See I feed the deer all summer as the deer eat my vegetable garden and then I harvest a couple in the fall and they feed me all winter.
Take some of the top round steaks and cut them 'with the grain of the meat' in strips and soak them in hickory bbq sauce, soy sauce, liquid smoke and a few other ingredients and then hang them on the oven racks with tooth picks (with a cookie sheet to catch the drippings) at 200 degrees (four hours) until you dry the meat out.
Damn, the best venison jerky you ever had with cold beer.
Take the grind and make hickory loaf that blows people away or chili or spaghetti or burgers.
Us Country Hillbilly folk depend on an extra 50 kg of free fresh organic government beef in the fall.
If he didn't, my hat off to him for that.
One of these days I will have to tell these fems, that keep trying to pry into my personal life, for some odd reason, the answer.
