Trump is toast because on Jan 6, 2021, he was weak - just as when he would not veto the spending bills that gave the Dems MORE than they asked for - including more funding for the illegals. And when the BLM thugs were burning and looting, he would wait for an invitation to act. In Portland, the feds were only protecting the fed buildings, not our civil rights.
A guy whose own daughter had to nudge him to act is history. People instinctively hate weakness when they feel abandoned.
That aside, the shame of Jan 6 was not that some morons decided to get violent. It's that the most critical piece of American real estate and the people there were not protected.
Those cops at the Capitol - just as the border guards - were there more as a decoration and to direct tourists to the restrooms. Most likely they were not even armed.
Just imagine if instead of a throng of dumb hicks, the attacking mob was an elite group of Muslim terrorists with AKs and their mission to slaughter Congress and the president. Today, we would have another date and hundreds of victims to remember.
