I fear you may be right about the state of the US. It is so divided it does not resemble the country I grew up in. Honestly it is embarrassing when in small town USA you have Trump people on one corner demonstrating, and on the other you have the communists, and still on the other you have the special interest group who dont really GAF about the other two groups as long as they get their way. Then you have people like me on the other corner looking at the country shaking their heads wondering how TF we got here.

The US needs someone to bring the two extremist sides of each major party closer to the middle. No Bernies or any other socialist freaks, and no Trump wannabe idiots. I can only see DeSantis doing this. No one in the Dem party is strong enough to tell the far left nut cases to STFU. And no one on the far right is brave enough to tell the extremist there to STFU. It will take one person like that to start bringing people together and making deals. But if there are never term limits put in place the same old useless walking corpses will continue to hold the entire country hostage.

Guys, on real issues we have a lot of common ground. It is the way the issues are handled and the way the country's business is done that I take issue with. Bill Clinton got BJ's but the guy also did business. Reagan was a real dangerous hawk, but he did business. The problem with the US is that no real business for the people is getting done.

The wall was nice, and college loan forgiveness is nice. Who Fing cares about that when the country's infrastructure is a Fing disaster. Bridges collapse, roads are absolute $hit, and some cities have more vacant buildings than they do residents. Income disparity is beyond disparity. Their are no longer rich people and poor people. There are the ultra wealthy and then the rest. A millionaire isn't $hit any more. Try retiring on a million and maintain your lifestyle. It can not be done.

The country wants to argue over abortion and gun control when the country can't even figure out how to fill a Fing pothole. We keep retards like McConnell and Pelosi in office while young people are committing suicide more than ever before because they have no hope when these POS cant do anything right. Remember 1976 when the country celebrated the bicentennial? Just out of the gas crisis and Vietnam, and there was still pride in what the USA was. Now what? Disgraceful.

I was in Rochester last month and landed in Minnesota airport to rent a car,with all those hijab wearing Algerians working on the airport.Even on the gas stations and stores in a mall.I think all Algerians moved there.

If you have not lived in the US, you can not understand what a US citizen may feel on this issue. Detroit for example went from being a great melting pot of Poles, Irish and Italians, to the largest Islamic community outside of the middle east. Poland has never experienced the tidal wave of immigration from the middle east, south america and Mexico that the US has. Sorry, but an opinion of someone who has not lived it is not based on any real experience. While I support legal immigration, it absolutely must also be required that integration be done. This is not the case in the USA. I cant get something to eat in parts of LA if I do not speak Spanish, and that my friend is not the USA or what it is meant to be.
