Yes, I think that the abortion verdict giving the green light to limiting women's rights, (which was only successful in 13 states, btw), made Americans aware of one thing: that the Repubs are not only flat-earthers who proclaim stupidity, but people who can really do harm. That it is not only ignorance they promote, but actually are able to do stupid harmful things. For many Americans it was a shock because they must have imagined it had just been Repub small talk and tall tales. We already know it wasn`t. That it is a dangerous and extremist party. It is worth paying attention to the abortion referenda. In all five states where they were held supporters of the legality of abortion won, in conservative states as well.

Johhny, my advice to help you win ANY elections in the future: stop meddling into people`s lives and personal choices. It is their private business and none of yours. Just fekk off of what people do in their lives.

Not yet, Milo. There's a halfway decent chance Repubs will control Senate and House, but not near the margins expected.

The biggest problem ahead, IMO, for repubs is how the Trump - DeSantis competition shakes out.

America is very equally divided right now. No one party has a major edge over the other. Some of the stuff we've seen in last two elections are damn near schizophrenic or bipolar. How that's managed by candidates will be key, IMO.

DeSantis has a much better skillset to deal with it, than Trump. But, the tricky part will be not losing the rabid Trump supporters.

I'd bet this cycle is the green light for Biden to run again. DeSantis would win that; he'd probably win running against anybody.

No matter what happens, and I think the Senate remains tied like it has been, there is no absolute power for either side. That is bad to US citizens. Gridlock and nothing getting done for two years is what you get.

DeSantis is the choice. He can not only win the Trumpers, but if they actually listen, they will know he is much more intelligent than Trump. He is easily a 2 term President who can get his full agenda implemented. The Florida model would be put in play nationwide, meaning taxes would be slashed, and personal freedoms restored.

The abortion issue is not an issue because they are still available, you just have to travel to get one if you are in the wrong State. Oh well, too bad. Abortions like guns should not be available to every idiot, and the day after pill and gun safes are available to everyone. Stupidity is not an excuse to receive a freedom or a right.

All the LGBTQ bull$hit in Florida has been managed by DeSantis, so all the left-wing whacko's can relax. DeSantis really doesn't GAF, but the government wont be subsidizing anyone getting their cox chopped off.

The question really is, when will House and Senate Republicans denounce Trump for DeSantis. If those pu$$ies dont do this soon, they will flush the presidency down the toilet and sleepy Joe will walk in for a second term. That is just bad planning and not learning from mistakes, may as well give Putin the nomination then.
