Our chancellor only a year back, or so, gave someone totally unsuited and inept, totally without any experience in this field, the highly important post of Minister of Defense....and that ONLY because she had the right gender (woman) and he needed to fulfill the equality quota he promised during the election...it was a catastrophe and a total fiasco!

In a time of crisis you need the best and the most experienced in a gov not the ones whose main qualification is to have the right gender and/or the right skin pigmentation or some fitting handicap.

The ruling had nothing to do with cronyism. It had everything to do with not allowing states to affect federal elections under the 14th Amendment.

If the Supremes didn't dispose of this BS the way they did, just one azhole judge could determine the outcome.

But there are many graves in the US of Europeans that fought for America.

The outcome would be the same if they stayed home. They were not relevant - just as some volunteers in Ukraine are irrelevant now.
The Americans who died in Europe were relevant - all 150,000 of them.
I wouldn't let them go to Europe but that's just me...
