I disagree. If we let someone get away with election interference, deliberately inciting violence, and stealing top secret documents, then we are a banana republic. My point is that the evidence being used to convict on election interference is such a stretch, that any politician can be targeted.

Trump is getting away with stealing top secret documents. He was lying about it right from the beginning despite overwhelming evidence, and now his judge groupie takes care that he doesn't have to pay for his crime. That case is certainly not a stretch, as you call it.

Those are two different cases. You have to be able to make the distinctions. The documents case is a federal offense. I have no problem with bringing such a case.
