Yeah, good question. How will judge handle that? If judge imprisons him now, it'll only prove the belief that these charges are indeed political and not legal.

One thing Trump did very well with last night was handling Jan 6 thing. He finally had a national spotlight to put forward the truth that he said "peacefully" and put the onus on Pelosi who has acknowledged it was her directive that she didn't accept the beefed up security Trump pressed for and offered. I got a feeling Jan 6 will have very little if any negative effect on Trump.

It will if his opponents spin it well enough.

There's still a lot to be milked from that and hopefully they will.

The milk produced from it will only be lapped up by those who are already firmly in Biden's camp.

Besides that milk is not factual. The facts are 1) Trump directed a peaceful march 2) prior to the rally Trump recommended increased security and offered thousands of national guardsmen and 3) Pelosi, who was in charge of Capitol, denied the offer and didn't increase security.

That's the verifiable facts we have, everything else is subterfuge and spin. It will have zero effect on the electorate that isn't die-hard left/Biden.

Because, like Hillary, she didn't want to miss the opportunity to have a riot by the people she hated.

In the ebb and flow of US politics and governement, today has been a very good day for those of us who are on the right. It is especially good for those of us who want a government more in line with the Constitution. Today, the USSC made a major ruling that weakens the Chevron doctrine that has allowed the administrative agencies to have enormous weight in interpreting law. I've been waiting for this kind of ruling for awhile.
