I can only refer to what Oztralia has done since 1978. Universal medicare with private health insurance companies competing for better service but most importantly for vastly reduced waiting lists for cancer ie serious illness. private health insurance costs 350 aud (per month!!) for everything including extras such as dental and wholistic medicine. if yolu want a barebones private health insurance excluding cancer, psychiatric care, pregnancy and automobile accidents thats about 200 a month. I imagine U.K is similar (maybe Poland too) in regards to private companies out-competing a government option for those that can afford it.

People die waiting to get a heart by pass and other medical procedures by specialists.
You might have to wait a year or more for an operation.
Its a total disaster.
Fifty miles north of me is a rather large hospital.
I live 150 miles south of the Canadian border.
So that hospital is about 1 1/2 hour drive from Canada.
That hospital has more patients from Canada than it has Americans.
Now what does that tell you ?
People in Canada and Britain die waiting to have procedures done so they come to the U.S. to get them done.
I have nurse friends that work at that hospital for my sources.
Funny how the Canadians won't deny what crappy free healthcare they have yet the Brits are in full denial.

True however employers pay for your health insurance and retired people gave Medicare that pays 80% with a very affordable supplements available to pick up the other 20%.
The poor people are eligible for Medicaid that pays 100% of their medical bills.
And the reason medical costs are so high is that the hospitals write off for tax credit all the medical bills that never get paid so the make them as high as they can.
You would have to live here Lenka to see how our corrupt system works also.

Thats why the Eurps that can afford to do so fly to the USA for their medical procedures.

I don't think it's fair to compare her strategy to Biden's in 2020s. At the moment she is working harder than Trump - doing more rallies and concentrating on social media.
