The arrest of Durov is nothing short of Putin like. Its an attack on freedom of speech and a right to privacy. I have watched a few interviews with him, and he is just as much a target as Navalny was for Vlad. This test run with Durov is likely a test to see if they could do the same to Musk. No greater threat to the socialist leftist movement then freedom of speech, privacy and intelligent people. I would wager a large amount of money this was done with information from the FBI and CIA, because they couldnt find enough to charge him in the US the last time he was there and the multiple times he has been questioned there.

It's one of the most advanced (and benign) legal systems in the world, so if he's innocent, doubtless he'll be acquitted.

It would be the same if his online service was broadcasting opinions about someone's innocence or guilt to the U.K. during or just before a jury trial and it had been seen by jurors. The courts take that extremely seriously.

Sorry but I would rather the billionaire than the socialist. She has no policies, and her general comments on what she would like to do would destroy the economy and increase home prices, futhering the housing crisis. I would rather see the economy grow, housing costs down, and prices down for every American. The proposed capital gains taxes alone should scare the $hit out of any American.

As for the charges, I dont think anyone should be held responsible for anyone else's speech or opinions expressed online. Should you be responsible for my speech or Novi's? No way. Should Yahoo, a very left wing source, be held liable for their readers comments? No. People dont have to like what anyone else says, but everyone should be able to say their opinion. That said, I think there are limits to what is an "opinion" and what is "inciting" or "attacking" in nature.
