USA News and Poland - part 18

Good luck

Thanks. I don't mess with gas and most electric-I call in the pros for that.

Bought a place few years ago-needed updating; so, I'm remodeling most of the place.

I'm doing main bathroom right now. The pipe from the tub needed replacing-it's 70 year ild galvanized steel and has a cast iron collar that tied down to the sewer line and up to roof for exhaust. The problem is the damn thing is encased in a poured concrete wall in the basement.

Believe it or not I just serviced my oil boiler and I'm not talking about the wife

Now that's funny!

You services it yourself? You a DYIer?

You in England? Oil boilers the norm?

Calling the rule of law "dead" is just a way to dismiss any result you don't like.

No, it isn't. How was Trump, for example, by pardoning the Capitol Hill rioters not undermining the rule of law? How can you say he did the right thing by those seriously injured police officers and by freeing convicted criminals? How would you feel if one of those injured had been a member of your family?

I might not like Trump, but when I argue points I put forward the reasons as to why I think he is wrong, whereas you just accuse everyone of having 'TDS' or being a 'Karen' when they say something you don't agree with. Others here make patronising comments towards women as if we don't have a brain or any valid points to make. Childish.

This forum is meant to be about debate but too many people here end up being insulted rather than having the points they made addressed. That's a cop-out.

What we have with the death of this woman is the verdict of any enquiry has been decided which is at best odd. Sidelining local authorities is also peculiar.

Given that the verdict's been decided already, the investigation's going to be a mere formality.

I'm talking about TWO NEXT SHOTS that were fired through the SIDE window when the ICE agent was already SAFE.

Execution-style killing. Totally unwarranted.

No, she didn't, she was TURNING and not going at him.

When a person is in front of you, you don't turn. You wait.

Then, you give it a short honk to alert, not to scare.

In this case, she broke the law by moving, turning, or not...

No, she wasn't scared of them. SHE CAME TO THEM! Deliberately, and with full knowledge that they were on duty and armed.

We don't chase ambulances and fire trucks. We don't frustrate firemen and EMTs when they arrive. People who do it deliberately should be shot.

No, it's not free speech.

Thanks to PAK, I now know the correct spelling...It's kunt.

My guess is that he's MAGA

It looks like that I was right after all - Daily Mail talked to that ICE agent's neighbours and they said he's a "hardcore MAGA supporter:"

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15449879/federal-agents-guns-swarm-jonathan-ross-home-hiding-minneapolis.html

"Another neighbor told the Daily Mail that until recently Ross had been flying pro-Trump flags and a 'Don't Tread On Me' Gadsden Flag that is an emblem of the Make America Great Again movement."

you just accuse everyone of having 'TDS' or being a 'Karen' when they say something you don't agree with

That's so unbiased, moderate, analytical, tentative and non-emotional though! ;D

When a person is in front of you, you don't turn. You wait.

And when you see the car moving you don't stand there, you move.

People who do it deliberately should be shot.

Not according to American law.

Execution-style killing. Totally unwarranted.

It is now as clear as the day is bright in Illinois that all the PF morons are in Europe.

To the last one, the Americans are correct, and on the right side of the sanity line.

Paulina
10 Jan 2026  #396

@Novichok, if all the PF morons are in Europe and Americans are correct then why none of you managed to give even one logical argument why the second and third shots where justified?

Novichok
10 Jan 2026  #397

And when you see the car moving, you don't stand there, you move.

He could be distracted or standing with his back to you. You wait and do not move. In this case, she was ORDERED to stay put.

If you step on the gas, it proves that you are a reckless moron, since you don't know if he can move out of the way sufficiently fast.

Why were the second and third shots justified?

Just in case the first one didn't do the job. Just wounding her was not enough to make her stop. She had to be killed.

Since you are Polish, I corrected the quoted sentence...nothing personal...

Miloslaw
10 Jan 2026  #398

In America if the Police ask you to stop. You stop. She didn't, that was her fatal mistake.

Having said that, I do believe the cop overreacted... a shove from a car was enough to kill her?

Really???

What kind of lunacy is that?...oh yeah, American lunacy....

It is now as clear as the day is bright in Illinois that all the PF morons are in Europe.

Nothing says credibility like hysterics from another continent lecturing Americans about American law enforcement. Global woke Karen outrage at its finest.

And the best part is they demand explanations too. Not questions asked in good faith, just declarations followed by "explain yourself" like they're entitled to a briefing.

Zero involvement, zero understanding of U.S. law, screaming conclusions from 6,000 miles away and then insisting Americans justify reality to them.

The entitlement is wild. Loud ignorance wrapped in moral certainty, powered entirely by distance and outrage. That's not debate. That's a full blown woke Karen just screaming away at her keyboard.....

@Joker

Mate, you know my views better than anyone else on PF.

Please don't tarnish us all with the same brush.

My question was;
a shove from a car was enough to kill her?

Really??

Paulina
10 Jan 2026  #401

In this case, she was ORDERED to stay put.

Allegedly she was also told to drive away. I don't know if it's true though.

He could be distracted or standing with his back to you.

He wasn't distracted and definitely not standing with his back to the car lol He pulled out the gun already when she was reversing her car. Apparently he didn't even put the phone away after pulling out the gun - that's how "scared" he was.

it proves that you are a reckless moron, since you don't know if he can move out of the way sufficiently fast.

She was driving slowly enough and she was turning - he could easily move away if he didn't pull out the gun and aim at her.

She had to be killed.

Why?

Joker
10 Jan 2026  #402

I don't know if it's true though.

Then shut up your big fukin mouth already!

Isnt it getting past your bedtime in Europe yet..... Youre like a broke record over and over.....STFU!!

Novichok
10 Jan 2026  #403

Why?

She declared herself to be the enemy of the United States by attacking a US agent.

When you see one in front of you, you don't step on the gas pedal. You stay and honk.

Joker
10 Jan 2026  #404

The Minnesota fraudsters Ilan Omar may be going to jail along with Tampon Tim.

She declared herself to be the enemy of the United States by attacking a US agent.

That wont fit her into woke mantra... He is guilty because she says so.

Agreed, but was he such a wimp that he had to kill her??

This wasn't the first incident of its kind. In a previous encounter, he was dragged approximately 50 yards and required 33 stitches.

In America if the Police ask you to stop. You stop. She didn't, that was her fatal mistake.

Not only did she not obey, shes was there all day blocking traffic and threatening law enforcement. A real woke idiot for sure.

Novichok
10 Jan 2026  #407

Allegedly, she was also told to drive away.

Most likely, she was told to get out first.

She refused.

Then she was told to get out of the car because she was being detained or placed under arrest for disobeying a lawful order.

Dude, you can't even acknowledge what is visible in the video and in the photos lol

hysterics from another continent lecturing Americans about American law enforcement

Nothing stops you from lecturing us about American law enforcement and how they should conduct themselves according to the American law :) But you haven't done this so far. So feel free to cite laws, guidelines for the law enforcement and court verdicts - I'm honestly curious.

Then shut up your big fukin mouth already!

No :) MAGATs claim here that those women were harassing ICE earlier even though it isn't confirmed, so I can share gossip too :)

zero understanding of U.S. law

So is this not correct?:

Nothing stops you from lecturing us about American law enforcement and how they should conduct themselves according to the American law.

U.S. law judges police force by objective reasonableness in the moment, not hindsight. Officers aren't required to retreat, shoot tires, or pause while a perceived deadly threat unfolds. Courts evaluate facts, not online certainty.

And to be clear, we don't owe explanations on demand to someone with no jurisdiction, no stake, and no consequences here. This is a U.S. legal matter governed by U.S. law.

You're welcome to an opinion, not entitled to explanations. This isn't your country, your law, or your risk.

Honestly, the most entertaining part is watching people 6,000 miles away lose their minds more than those who actually live here.

Is it getting close to your bed time Karen?

Another Euro to join the club..

The trouble with you Rich is that you think everything is black or white.White is good, black is bad.

But life ain't like that, for a man of your years, you should have learnt that by now.

My politics is solidly right wing. But you accuse me of being a Euro, implying that I am a leftie.(The UK is no longer in The EU BTW).

And you treat Paulina and some of the other women on here as if they are stupid Socialists!I would say that most of the women on here lean to the left but are still ardent patriots.Interesting to note that there are no American women on PF.I wonder why....?

She was not a random civilian caught up by accident in a riot.

She was a warrior who declared war on the United States. She got treated exactly as such.

Not quite, I'm a night owl :) 🦉🌜✨

She declared herself to be the enemy of the United States by attacking a US agent.

Does anyone have a logical answer based in American law? Because Novichok clearly doesn't have one lol 🙄

It is, superb post Paulina!

Thank you! I have more, but let us give a chance to Joker, captain of MAGA, to show his quality! 😁 xD

Officers aren't required to retreat, shoot tires, or pause while a perceived deadly threat unfolds.

According to that fragment I posted they are. So can you actually cite something that refutes what is written in that screenshot I posted?

10 Jan 2026  #417

the best part is they demand explanations too. Not questions asked in good faith, just declarations followed by "explain yourself" like they're entitled to a briefing.

I haven't 'demanded' any explanation but in response to my post about the rule of law being dead, you posted in reply that that isn't the case and I'm using that to dismiss any result I don't like.

I put forward the Capitol hill rioters being freed as an example of Trump undermining the rule of law. If I'm wrong then I would honestly like to hear your reasons as to why you think I'm wrong instead of this type of insulting non-answer:

Zero involvement, zero understanding of U.S. law, screaming conclusions from 6,000 miles away and then insisting Americans justify reality to them.

She was driving slowly enough and she was turning - he could easily move away if he didn't pull out the gun and aim at her.

Those are my feelings too.

So is this not correct?:

If that's the case then he definitely went too far. I expect more insults instead of a reply though.

Joker
10 Jan 2026  #418

I put forward the Capitol hill rioters being freed as an example of Trump undermining the rule of law.

That's not an example of the rule of law being "undermined," it's an example of the executive clemency power being used, which is explicitly written into the U.S. Constitution and has been exercised by every president.

The rioters were arrested, charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced through the court system first. That is the rule of law functioning. A pardon after the fact doesn't erase the process or the findings.

You can dislike the use of pardons. That's fair. But pretending they're some Trump-only invention or proof the legal system collapsed is just political framing, not a legal argument.

Not that I owe either of you any explanation at all.

Joker is right.

38 states have stand your ground laws. In this case, Minnesota woke laws don't apply.

There is no way the feds would be required to retreat or yield to a criminal.

The moment she started rolling toward the LEO, she crossed the red line and committed a crime. Actually, two...That's how you sign your death certificate in the USA.

I like the USA, the feds, and the cops very much. If anything, they are too nice and too patient with Karens and azzholes of both genders.

BTW, there are only two genders...

That's not an example of the rule of law being "undermined,"

I admire your patience...

Joker

Dont make thier heads explode even more....lol

Are you watching the Bears vs Packers tonight?

I admire your patience...

Its running thin...Now, I understand Polam`s frustration.
