Depends. An accusation is simply that: an accusation. Having read as much criminal law cases as I have, one comes to the stark realization that people will accuse others of over the top things for myriads of reasons. We know Trump's detractors were looking to ruin him and would go to extremes to accomplish that. And, there are political operatives who actively recruit people to bring down politicians.

So, accusations need to be tested.

I would want to know:

when were these accusations made: before or after 2016?

Does this woman have a criminal history? If yes, what is it and when did it begin?

Did anyone suggest she report these purported sex crimes? Who? When? Or did she volunteer it by her own volition?

I'd want to corroborate where she was, what she was doing, etc. around the time she claims this happened?

I'd want to see her bank records 6 months before and after she made these accusations to FBI.

On and on and on.

I would not vote for Trump if this was true. But, I've learned to not believe that every accusation is true...quite the contrary.

This reminds me of another smear campaign, like the one they tried to pull on Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who never even met the accuser in his life.


If the story were true, it would obviously be very serious. But if something like that actually happened, we'd be hearing about it everywhere in the U.S. Right now it just sounds like another unverified claim. I also can't see Trump being that stupid. And interestingly, there hasn't been anything about it from the usual American clown media circus like CNN, NYT , ABC or fake news BBC.
