@JokerThat's a really curious graphic you shared... the one with the title "The Evolution of the Left 1860s to Modern Day".
The first person appears to be a Confederate soldier. The second person, a member of the Ku Klux Klan. The third looks an Israeli Kibbutznik. The fourth a Flower Power-age hippie. The fifth is some kind of business executive. The sixth a drag queen. And the last is a woman in a burqa.
Seeing as you posted this picture yourself - with no one forcing you to do it - it must have at least made some sense to you. I'm really curious how you tie all of these things together inside your brain?
To me, the only leftists on the picture are the Kibbutznik, the Hippie, and the Drag Queen.
The Confederates were clearly the Right - in the Civil War. That is - the people insisting on tradition, continuity, etc. The Union were obviously the Progressives in that context.
The Klan was also a "Right" organization - clearly. Made up of a buncha good ol' boys who hated what Jew-loving and *****-loving progressives from NYC and Boston were trying to force down their throats.
The businessman? Is it supposed to be a specific type of businessman? Maybe a Bay Area tech executive? Not sure if you know - but Silicon Valley came out for Trump in a big way.
The woman in a burqa - is LEFTIST?!?! That kinda world outlook is the textbook definition of arch conservatism.

I'm getting the sense that your ideological perspective is a hot mess. Not exactly a William Buckley or George Will type....
It seems more like "Leftist" means "everybody who bullied me in the past or people I otherwise don't like".
In the same way that children call everything they feel is not cool - "gay".
Is that a correct reading?
