In Poland that would be considered poaching. Killing animals in places where they are fed (e.g. forest feeding racks) is forbidden and those who do that are widely despised by hunters. Now, shooting wild animals in your own front yard where you feed them yourself is a whole another level of immorality.

No, I have apple trees that the deer come into my yard in the fall to eat the apples naturally.
I don't put corn or alphalpha hay out until after deer season when the snow covers the ground two feet deep.


Hunt, harvest, the same thing and that is why I used both those words.


The deer are on my property year around even when I am not feeding them.
They eat my vegetables in my garden and fruit off my fruit trees all fall.
I feed them in the summer and they feed me in the winter. :-)
I live in a forested area where I can shoot my gun day or night as I please.
(Not shoot deer at night though which I don't have to.)
And tell me why I would shoot a deer a mile away in the forest to have to drag it out to my house when I could shoot the same deer ten meters from the barn door ?

I feed them AFTER hunting season when the snow gets so deep they have very little food to eat.
They brows all the lower food so the little ones can't reach the upper branches so the little ones starve.

The Conservation authority could give a shlt and do nothing about it after collecting millions on hunting licenses.

In Poland feeding the wild animals is not to be done by private individuals - it is a job of local forestries (Leśnictwo) and hunting clubs (Koło Łowieckie) responsible for the given hunting district(s). We build feeding racks in the district for which we provide building material, conservation, food, salt-blocks etc. - and we pay way more for it than your measly $3k. Still, it doesn't give any of us the right to shoot an animal at the feeding rack ffs. That's poaching. If you do that in Poland, hunters will despise you as a lowlife poacher.

We also pay the farmers for the damage that the deer or wild boar do to their crops; that's why the farmers are supposed to inform us if wheat, corn, potatoes or whatnot are eaten by wild animals. Hunters will take turns guarding the fields and the farmers will be paid compensation for any damage. Farmers are not supposed to "take justice in their own hands" and shoot the animals because that's "their property". *rolls eyes*


I don't live there, but I am quite sure that hunting laws are similar in the US or at least that there are some hunting laws in place. Otherwise it's nothing short of chaos and barbarism, and that's what you seem to be telling me.

Judging by those videos and what I've read feeding corn to deer in the winter can be especially dangerous to them. You should do research whether you can do that where you live and how to do that in such a way as to not do more harm than good (although, judging by those articles, it probably would be better if private individuals didn't feed them at all).

It looks like there are states in the US where feeding deer is illegal:

When I was going to the bars and clubs I ran into thee young brauds but to me they looked about 19-20 but I got real excited guys because they were asking this one old lady or some **** for directions to some street and I helped them out but ****** up once again. What I ended u doing was telling them how to get there as they had these two free passes to a club they got from a advertiser guy who passes them out and I asked right away how old are you as they were about to leave because I couldnt think of what else to say and one of them replied 15 but then the other made it seem like she was joking and said almost 18 either way to me they were my target or prime or under 19 whatever the number is I almost had a hard on right there. And I ended up telling them I can invite them for beers or join them and have money (to make it known in case theyre those types of girls or looking for sugar daddy) and they backed out claiming they had boyfriends and wouldnt give me their contacts. When they left I saw them looked real like weirded out just because I told them im into teens or into nastolatki I was honest with them trying to tell them or show them how excited I was. like they did this weird look like im bolting out of here look and even increased their pace to get away from me with like this oddball look. which sucks because some other older dude or dudes probably were pounding it that night and not me.
