But it's not in your "Old Testament and the Gospels" category. So, I suppose your private canon is "Old Testament, the Gospels and the Book of Revelation"? Well, it's a private canon nonetheless. I don't know any Christian church that rejects the Acts and the Apostolic Letters.

The Acts are just a historical book, so I don't mind it. As for Apostolic Letters - I simply don't treat them as equal to the Gospels. The Gospels are the words of Christ and the Apostolic Letters, for me, are just interpretations and views of men living in those times. So, as far as the question of "how to live" is considered, Jesus' teachings are "the canon" for me.


I don't reject the Acts. As for the Apostolic Letters, maybe they don't "reject" it in theory, but many don't exactly stick to them entirely either in practice... In how many Christian churches women cover their heads, for example? Do you think women's uncovered hair offends God or sth? lol
