The reason the Chinese are so annoyed with Putin's "progress" in Ukraine is that they conducted many joint military exercises with Russia, and in every single one of them it was the Russian army that came on top as the better trained and efficient one. One linguist decided, on the basis of university student writings in the US, that in modern usage its and it's are essentially free variants of each other (no one under 100 cares about which one you use when). In casual usage only grammar queens care... this forum is casual usage, if you can't take it then find other people online that you can bother....
