Cause Poland does not only live in the moment, but looks to it's past experiences to know about possible indicators of future behaviours, recognising patterns in behaviour of statesmen and national/state goals.
So far U.S.A has no need to invade Poland, and is more of an interventionist force then Imperialistic one. Sure has the strongest military, a huge military industrial complex, gun crazed people and doesn't mind using show of force when in need of it.
One just needs to learn what's important to Americans and not give an inch of a reason to be invaded or toppled. Being friendly and willing to Co-operate is a no-brained as their interest groups rival each other depending on who's country belongs more to the other.
Similar fashion with opposition owning Germany/EU relations option in Poland while PiS means more U.S.A relations regardless of internal politics and policies that can potentially differ with America.
While Russian option cannot be taken seriously due to Russian hegemonical approach and reduced financial, military and political option.
An alliance/option with Russia in Poland would favour a option that would be interested in: Expanding in general, Orthodox ties, authoritarian tendencies, cheap energy while humiliated publically to the scorn of own and oppositional political base, security from being invaded by Germany/U.S.A/France/U.K for whatever reason. (Which is highly unlikely due to trade being increased, stable and prospering and there is no intention of reducing or cancelling it short term or long run)
Only card that could potentially turn Poland to Russias favour would some sort of monopoly deal from Russia/China and special privileges in investing trade and whatnot. But they are not only unwilling to do that, but also looks at Poland as a small chess piece, not even a chess player.
While Ukraine is able to give some sort of similar deal which, Poland simply cannot ignore due to possible economical but also political benefits and possibility of influencing Ukraine in a way which will reduce chance of a future invasion of Poland. By not only Russia, but even coalition of smaller countries
