There's wifi on cruise ships. Satellite internet coverage anywhere you can go outside to up a dish. You can go online in a hospital or a care home. The only place where somebody can't even borrow a visitor's phone to go online is the slammer. Just don't talk about why he spent four months there!


Have you forgotten what kind of prisoners are kept in segregation? Prisoners like Jailhouse Jimmy's chosen housemate Richard, the ones convicted of sex crimes that involve children, wouldn't last five minutes in the general population.

Inmates have a better justice system than the one outside.

I was posting here from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in a winter storm with 100 foot waves, with pitching/rolling so strong that the furniture was sliding all over the room and on one of the largest industrial ships in the world which was actually going backwards even with the engines on full.

It was slower but it still worked.

Some of the Filipinos on board used to fish from the submersible bit of the ship and sell their catch to the galley. Not in a storm though; they were seriously bad. A sailor died on my first voyage and there were plenty of injuries on the others.

I did see Jailhouse Jim in his luxury yacht however. He was chasing a giant whale called Mopey Rich.

He had a hundred prime beef cattle on board in the cabins and was sailing to his luxury plantation in Jamaica.

What's the best evidence that Jailhouse Jim didn't spend more than four months in jail recently? There's no way that the crews of every single one of his fleet of private helicopters would have been unable to break him out of the slammer in four months.

I don't understand why wouldn't he tell us more about that experience rather than deny it.

Two are very nice and we've also had people like F Stop, that guy who was a doctor (I've forgotten his name) and a newish occasional poster Marion Kanahwa who posts about history books.

Regarding boasts, remember that boasting about salary etc is less unacceptable there than in Europe. The don't have the same social safety net as we do and workers tend to be treated badly there so some of them lie about money, possessions, status.

But not all. I know some really nice ones in real life.

Good lawyers aren't cheap, but I assume paying them is better than rotting in jail, so it's lucky he hasn't spend much on property upkeep (as shown by the falling value of his residence).
