It's hard enough recuperating from a serious illness and it can't help that sections of the media mistake her for a celebrity who needs to give constant updates on their life.

She's very popular and it's great that she seems to be doing well in her recovery. The main thing today though was the Trooping of the Colour, a big annual event. Looking at the media, including foreign outlets, they seemed more interested in the principle's daughter-in-law than the event itself.

Indeed; they never usually report it much, just as nobody usually reports Army Day in Poland, unless in either case it's a quiet day and they want some nice pictures.
