Since so many east europeans have left the UK, wages are going up, and massively so.
Not so much round here; the big employers still pay just over the Living Wage (£8.91 ph) and some people (especially from Poland or Latvia) switch jobs (mostly agency stuff in big factories) every few weeks chasing a few p more per hour or somewhere that still pays extra for overtime..
Nobody coming over from PL now, and people (some of the people who came just after 2004 are close to retirement now and longing to be back in their own house) are returning, however there's a slow stream of people from other, further, places. None from Serbia though; AFAIK they never had freedom of movement.
