The Abrahamic stem is, in simplest terms, to say God revealed Himself and He revealed Himself as One in contrast to the popular religious practices during that time in Mesopotamia. So, to say Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are Abrahamic religions is simply to say they are monotheistic revealed religions. While Judaism and Christianity certainly have a strong familial relationship as Christianity grew out of Judaism as its fulfillment, Islam is more like a 5th cousin 12 times removed--very little relation.

There has been several historical analyses done on the topic of religion being the main cause of war and from the analyses I've seen, the consensus is that religion is rarely the cause of war--it typically has to do with multiple factors, territory and resources being the main drivers--not theocracy or religious supremacy.

Islam evolved into or was always meant to be a totalitarian political tool pretending to be a religion to disarm the opponents. You know...religious tolerance we should practice - but not Islamists.

They are exempt and "tolerance" is a blasphemy. Go to Mecca with "I am a Christian" on your T-shirt and see what happens.
