75 Years of Israel and the War

In earlier rounds, the Israelis performed only aerial bombardments and limited incursions around the border fence area. They correctly calculated that they had to seriously bruise Hamas, but not attempt to decapitate it.

This time, they imposed on themselves a mission of completely clearing Hamas out of Gaza. First of all, this is impossible. Second, it will involve urban warfare that will make Bakhmut and Mosul look like Disneyland. Third, this will lose them - slowly - all their allies from around the around, except for maybe the United States. Fourth, it will make practically inevitable a continuation of the conflict now on two fronts - with Hezbollah becoming active from the northern direction.

If Israel somehow succeeds in toppling the Hamas regime, it will be left either with the responsibility of running the place as it did in the past, or annexing it entirely. This would place a demographic time bomb under Israel, as it would become only a matter of time before it ceases to be a Jewish state. Demographics are fate, and Arabs make more babies than Jews (except Orthodox Jews).

The best case scenario for Israel, would be Egypt opening the gates and 2M Gazans becoming Egyptian citizens. Then Israel can make itself at home in Gaza, and begin the work of turning it into the Jewish paradise they always believed it could be. Except Egypt will never help the Jews in such a magical way. They maybe signed a peace agreement with them, but they still hold Israel responsible for the illegal occupation. Israel is responsible for those 2M people, whether it likes it or not.

So yes, Israel is pretty globally screwed. It's what happens when a bunch of white people move into an area where they are surrounded on all sides by brown people.

That's because for all their misery they can "excuse" it with the west being decadent and decaying, meaning it's it's only a matter of time. Thinking time is on their side and they can chill and do nothing.

Modern state of "Israel" is a sore in their eyes cause it proves the opposite. Being in direct conflict and still surviving despite all odds, it shows the true colours and forces it to enrage to the surface with it's warts and faults. Nobody likes warts and ugliness, so they try to force it away with all means necessary. Unwilling to accept defeat or loss as lands are being taken and civilians who paces are being conquered away from them.

It's proof of their own incompetence, so they plan to remove the evidence instead of working on themselves. They are unable to acknowledge their own defeat, turning themselves into a long driven self cursing of defeat after defeat with only a handful of very costly "victories"

They were naive....truly believed that, if they do what the arabs and the Pali-loving world demands from them, there would be peace....they left Gaza, left the arabs to themselves plus the endlessly continuing support of the countless NGO's, global help organizations and whole countries....they left them to vote and govern for themselves...and look what it got them!

@pawian, yes, he was talking about Hamas. I'm not any military expert, but as far as I understand one of the elements of warfare is disrupting the communications of the enemy. So how do you know that besides this Israel wants to affect civillians as well?

They do, but you can have encrypted walkie talkies that the Israeli's will struggle to be able to decipher.
And rather than using VHF or UHF they could use HF frequencies that travel much further.
