75 Years of Israel and the War

We better go back to the thread.

Honestly, these are probably posts that belong in the top 10% of good PF posts. This is natural conversation, and not mere idle throwing of sh!t on the fan.

looking for freedom and hope

If the commies paid better and gave me a passport to travel would have stayed. To be able to vote for two parties was not the reason why I left. I already had it at home.

You didn't have a real choice though - all you could vote for were commies, who wouldn't pay you more and wouldn't give you a passport. You couldn't vote for capitalists and democrats that would give you an opportunity to earn more and who would give you a feckin' passport to travel.

Getting paid better = hope.
Being allowed to travel = freedom.

Me being paid better in "America" had nothing to do with the US gov. Everything good in my life came from the private business and those individuals who hired me.

However, I do appreciate my passport and the freedom to go and come back. I just didn't like being asked where I went and why but I am friends with the Immigration guys now.

I only wish they had AR-15s and permission to shoot migrants.

This had everything to do with the US being a capitalist country (=having a capitalist government). In PRL you couldn't choose to be ruled by capitalists. You couldn't vote for capitalists who would be in favour of private businesses that would hire you.

However, I do appreciate my passport and the freedom to go and come back.

No sh1t. These days in Poland having a passport and being able to travel wherever and whenever you want is taken for granted, because it's a basic right in democratic countries. In PRL times it was more of a privilege. And you're telling me that you could "vote for two parties too"! lol People couldn't even travel in a normal way back then and Germans from East Germany were being shot dead when they were trying to cross the Berlin Wall and escape to the West!

You're absolutely ridiculous and pathetic.

I only wish they had AR-15s and permission to shoot migrants.

I don't care what you wish for, psycho.

No, idiot, the word capitalism is not in the US Constitution. The phrase: "Leave them alone, morons, and watch them prosper." is right in the Bill of Rights.

You see, idiot, capitalism is what you get naturally when the government fvcks off and does nothing. Just make sure that nobody robs, steals, and abuses kids. That's it.

Yes, I know, to a typical Euro bootlicker like you, the sky is blue because the government made it so.

The government didn't f*ck off in PRL though, because it was a communist government - and communist governments were an extreme opposite of "f*cking off". You have to have a government that either is in favour of capitalism or at least allows it (like it was in your and many other Poles' dream destination - the US). The PRL government wasn't in favour of capitalism and didn't allow for capitalism to develop naturally either. And you couldn't do anything about it - you couldn't change the government for one that would be in favour of capitalism or one that would allow it or one that would grant freedom to travel, because there was no real democracy in Poland. There were no real democratic elections in PRL times, you idiot.

Novichok - shoot migrants

The best thing is that he is an emigrant himself

Novichok

Therefore what?

Alien

You don't usually shoot at your own people. This could be called friendly fire.

You don't usually shoot at your own people.

Remember that the stuff he posts is the complete opposite of what he posts here.

On Facebook, he's against the death penalty, opposed to guns, anti-trump and pro-Democrat.

Alien

On Facebook, he's against

Aha, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Novichok
24 Nov 2023  #1364

Paraphrasing an Israeli official:

In civilized countries, the army protects civilians. In hellholes like Gaza, civilians protect terrorists.

Aha, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Don't pay any attention to the moron. I don't post on Facebook and never will.

Back to my question...What does my being an immigrant have to do with any subject discussed here?

Joker

In hellholes like Gaza, civilians protect terrorists.

They voted Hamas into power and dont seem to have a problem being human shields.

24 Nov 2023  #1368

That was in 2006 and no elections since.
For the record, I don't have any problem with Hamas, They are too far away to cause me harm.
The problem I have is with the morons - here and now. I always knew we had many. I just didn't know that we have so many and so depressingly stupid.

It's always the same sh*it spinning around...Antifa, BLM, abortion "rights", transgenders, migrants...and now Hamas.

@Novichok
Google "What's the dumbest thing an American has said to you?" Should be on YouTube, depressing at start. Becomes humoures afterwards

Which part of my post are you referring to?

jon357

"What's the dumbest thing an American has said to you?"

Quota is full of that.

One elderly tourist couple at the National Railway Museum in York kept asking someone when the Brits went to America to learn about railway building. They were literally stood in front of the first train in the world but just couldn't grasp that it wasn't an American invention and that the U.K. had a nationwide railway network before they had a single metre of line.

I wonder if the US informed Hamas what would happen to them if any of the American hostages got hurt.

Alien

what would happen to them if any of the American hostages got hurt.

Let me think about it... nothing and nothing again... or what?

Novichok
25 Nov 2023  #1374

Based on rumors, we went to Iraq and killed a million.
If Hamas killed the US hostages, the US should treat Gaza the same way except that it would not be based on a rumor. I would be so proud.

Miloslaw
25 Nov 2023  #1375

Let's get back on subject. And we need to get a few facts straight.
1.Palestine as a state does not exist.
2.The Gaza Strip and The West Bank are in Israel.
3.Hardly anyone recognises the Palestinian passport.
4.Most Palestinians hold Israeli passports.
5.This is not a "War in Gaza" as most global media seem to label it,except for the attacks by Hezbollah, this is an Israeli civil war, between Muslims and Jews.

Barney

@Miloslaw
The two state solution is dead, A single state makes sense, remove the apartheid laws and let the people vote. That was the original plan before the US got involved at the direct insistence of Truman.

Miloslaw

The two state solution is dead, A single state makes sense,

Agreed.A united Israel with both Muslims and Jews
.
Many Muslims are already happy living as Israelis and some are even politicians.

Barney

Many Muslims are already happy living as Israelis

But not as equal citizens and the vast majority are living under apartheid.

But not as equal citizens and the vast majority are living under apartheid.

Because Israel is a Jewish state. If they don't like it, they can move to a Muslim country.
