75 Years of Israel and the War

I started my response to your post and gave up. Every sentence in it is so full of bs... no info what you are responding to...Strawman crap all over...weasel words like "seems" after 1300 unarmed Israelis were executed in a manner that would make Gestapo cringe.

That was not a conflict: it was an act of barbarism, followed by what normal men do: avenge the victims, kill the barbarians, and make sure they don't have to do it again - with premeditation and great pleasure.

What would actually change?

The most important players won't stop the support, what will the rest do besides the usual condemning of Israel.

Hopefully they have learned that the so called international community sucks! They will only be happy when Israel stops existing....

My main worry is that the war in Ukraine is far more important than the war in Israel.

And that some Europeans and most Americans no longer see it that way.

Save Ukraine first!Israel can look after itself for now, once the Ukraine problem is solved THEN save Israel.

3. The US will support Israel no matter how many Gazans will die in this cycle.

Without proof, knowing how it plays out here with kneegros, my bet is that the good guys, the IDF, told them in Arabic to freeze, drop what they were carrying, and hand up. They had a better idea - clearly in conflict with the Israelis' irresistible desire to stay alive.

Still, people keep saying Israel can't defeat Hamas in an open war.....well.....the judgement is still out and it for sure will take awhile for Hamas to spring back from all these losses....and some will be gone forever! And the IDF isn't even through yet with that operation...

And what would had been the alternative? Tunnels still there....leaders still there....money still there.....footsoldiers and weapons and ammo all still there....would that had been preferable?

I hope Israel will not buy this crap as just another tactical move.
